[Synthetic Turian]

Who do you hate, or just dislike the most, in the Mass Effect series?

 

It could be anyone, hero, ally, villain or even a random NPC.

Jacob Taylor from ME2, I feel like his character was mostly filler in the game. At the beginning of the game you think he will have a major role in the game but then you get better squadmates like Garrus, Tali, Jack, Zaeed, Grunt so Jacob is basically left in the Armory doing nothing.

Certain characters are designed to be hated. You love to hate them.

Other characters just suck.

I guess Kai lame would be a decent fit for both types.

And then what Bioware did to him in ME3, just made him worse.

I hated Liara T'soni so much that I sided with Benezia in Mass Effect 1 and had her killed by her own mother.

If I were a moderator I would shut down threads like this. Why bothering a thread about hate? It will only generate conflict with other people that support said characters. We should be telling BW what we want to see and not what we don't want to see. I hope one day this community will be mature enough to communicate better and who knows maybe one day if that happen BW developers will return and engage more with us.

And they kinda do the same thing with James Vega in ME3 but his character was better developed I think. And I liked his funny Latin-American jokes, I have Latin-American descent.

The only character I don't really like is Kaiden ... he's such as wet sack.

 

However, everyone apart from Grunt gets a special mention... just for not being Grunt!

I only hate those that refuse the free metal hugs i give. Mostly cause they tend to shoot me cause they hate geth but... you know?

The nightmares kid. I found that I had to care about him annoying, so the only nightmare that had any kind of impact was the one with my shep hugging the kid and burning. Me? Caring enough about that brat to burn with him? The horror!

Avina. It doesn't make sense, it's not logical, but I shudder every time I hear her voice in ME1. I am irrationally glad we never saw her again, and I go out of my way to loop as far around Avina terminals as possible when I'm rolling through ME1.

Honestly I can't say that I hate any of them. I dislike Liara, Kaiden, and Ashley. I dislike Kai Leng and Aria. But I don't have the same hatred for them that I have for certain Dragon Age characters, for instance.
