Conrad Verner. I know a guy just like him.

But if you shot him in the foot, would the results be just as funny?

I honestly can't shoot at Conrad with my main Shepard. Firing at random civilians for just being a bit of a jackass doesn't gel with my character. Plus, Conrad's one of my favorites lol.

I just like scaring him.. and punching him in ME2. My Shep is still an *******.... but a moderate one.

I don't punch him either, but I love frightening the asari weapons merchant. I don't give a vorcha's ass how she feels, but I like the discount.

I get her busted by going back to Conrad's area..

So yeah.. everyone gets a beatdown in some form.

I'll say it again:

THE SPACE NINJAAAAAAAA  -_-

And I also really disliked Traynor, there was something annoying about her, even more than Allers tbh. I thought that Allers character was pointless but I didn't care or mind her that much. Traynor on the other hand... oh and Kelly.... I didn't like her either, too boring and bland.

I punched all the characters it was possible to punch but not because I disliked them but because it was fun  <_<

Conrad Verner was awesome. He was willing to risk his own life for Shepard. The ME3 squadmates can't say that since they don't like providing cover fire and speaking up for Shepard

Just ignore her. She's only required in one scene to explain the retrofits. The rest of the time she can be ignored.

Can she?  I thought she was a vital part of the story, what with the Grissom mission, etc?  Never tried just ignoring her.

She is rather closely tied to the plot of ME3. Not essential to the plot mind you, just tied to it.

Yes

Shepard won't learn about Grissom leading to the death of the students and possibly facing Jack on Cronos if she's alive in ME3. The other is the ex-Cerberus scientists mission. Without knowing about that mission, Jacob, if alive, and all the others will die.

Thank you Mike, I'll try that the next time I play :)

No problem.

If interested, try doing a playthrough ignoring everyone like this one I did

That's easy. Allers is optional and you can never talk to her if you want. Traynor is always right there and you have to talk to her sometimes. Add in her weird back and forth with EDI and it makes sense. I liked Kelly's insights into the other characters, but otherwise she was just another Cerberus cheerleader.

Anderson as a character was, but not his relationship with Shepard, I don't think the extra history was explored in any other media that I know of, just referred to implied.

I personally only have two characters I actually come to hate in the series.

Ashley Williams and Dr. Gavin Archer.

I think Kimberly Brooks is a terrific voice actress, I still can't get over her being replaced in Batman Arkham Knight, she is the Oracle to me.

And I think she did a good job voicing Ashley. But as a character, she was far too angry and aggressive for me personally, she didn't fit in with everyone else on the Normandy for me, since other than Kaidan the rest of the squad were aliens, or as she calls them 'animals'. Plus I didn't like how Captain Anderson just made her stay on the Normandy. I would have liked a choice, and I would have left her on the Citadel. Never have I had a playthrough where I've saved Ashley, and I can't see myself doing so, since Kaidan is one of my personal faves.

Dr. Gavin Archer I hate more.

As someone from England, I find it annoying it whenever English accents are done either as uber posh or London cockney. His voice acting was the least of it though. He was just an awful person for me. What he did to David was more than unethical. I was just so shocked by what he had done, I wanted to go full renegade and just have Shepard shoot him. Meeting him again on Gellix, where he was still wracked with guilt did nothing to make me hate him less.

This.

I keep going back to despising Ashley from her scene on first meeting her in ME2. (assuming she was kept alive)

In that meeting, she throws that diatribe at Shep about Cerebrus, etc., without any discovery as to what's going on.

Especially off-putting, given the whole "we took down Saren together" in ME1, and you should know where my loyalties lie after all that.

Where's the loyalty?

Even though she later apologizes, to me she is all "Ready, Fire, Aim".

Diana Allers.

Agree.

Emily Wong would've been better in my opinion. Heck, I would've even preferred the one we can punch. At least these two had history with Shepard.

That's true. They aren't that hard to avoid luckily. That only leaves the space ninja lol but there's not much to do about him :D

Ashley, or starbrat if we count it as a character.

I find Starchild is tolerable if you accept him as Harbinger in disguise. As if hearing FemShep and BroShep speaking together with a child isn't a clear sign enough.

I'm glad you said that because I am on the fence if there's enough to call him an actual character.

Starbrat and Kai Leng, both for obvious reasons that have already been discussed here.

Uh, I hated that squad mate in ME1...the biotic guy. Forget his name but he was annoying.

I loved to hate Saren just because I felt he was a well-written antagonist. I actually felt pity for him.
