Yeah agreed ME2 really sucked with limiting your dialogue options. Thankfully I played that on PC and gave to myself maximum Renegade/Paragon points to play the way I wanted...mostly Paragon with the cool Renegade interrupts.

Udina should have redeemed himself in ME3, but Mass Effect's hangups with politicians and corporate executives wouldn't allow it.

Miranda, for all so called skills she said she had she wasnt very useful in my first playthrough, after that my other playthroughs i drop her as soon as i get another companion(except for her personal mission).
I don't hate any of the characters in Mass Effect but there are few that I don't like.
ME(1) - Keidan. I don't know, he is just not interesting and hopeless. Every time I play this game with intention of saving him on Vermire I just can't... he dies every single time.
ME2 - Jackob. I really like his personal quest but that's about it. like someone mentioned before, he just stays in armoury and collect dust.
- Thane. Same as Keidan in ME, just not interesting and shallow.
ME3 - hmm... I don't think I have an unlikeable character in here. I think Liara's Info Drone is getting on my nerves but not as much as Keidan or Thane

The biotic slam was the only reason I did her personal mission. I think if it was it would have recieved a handful of changes through updates(good and bad) and dont like when bioware(others companies too) messes with weapons/abilities for co-op online. This makes no sense to me unless a weapon/ability doesnt work the way it was "intended". srry off topic a little.
She always died on me, and id rather have Jack for biotics and Mordin for tech combos. My shep will forever be a sentinal, one that makes Miranda look like an amateur
If I were a moderator I would shut down threads like this. Why bothering a thread about hate? It will only generate conflict with other people that support said characters. We should be telling BW what we want to see and not what we don't want to see. I hope one day this community will be mature enough to communicate better and who knows maybe one day if that happen BW developers will return and engage more with us.

Yeah but that's true for any Shepard compared to characters of similar class. My Shepard's a vanguard so Jack is just a spare shockwave machine and Jacob is the armory lawn jockey in a wetsuit.
lol true that, i guess usefullness of a companion comes down to player choice and playstyle. I dont think I ever used Jacob either(except personal mission)

Nah, thats cool. I agree, and I'm trying to understand why Slam wasn't feature wth any classes on ME3MP as well.
Maybe, it would be too overpowered? Or maybe there were physics and engine limitations.

He's what I label as a forced character. I feel like too much emphasis was placed on him, mainly due to the fact the he was a Geth.
I never trusted him, even now, I don't like the idea of him.
