I only hate one character with passion; Kai Lame.
However, I very much dislike Ashley, forced upon you sexbot EDI and Liara "BW's pet" T'Soni.

I don't really *hate* anyone, but characters like Kai Leng, Henry Lawson, Udina or Han Gerrel don't have any redeeming qualities imo. My least favorite squadmates were Tali, Thane and Kaidan. The worst "character" was the holokid, I suppose.
You can punch Han Gerrel, that should count as redeeming quality
Vega. he just plain sucks, and his VA is worse.
The only character I actually hated was Liara. And I never really liked Jacob, Garrus, Vega or the dying frog boy from ME2...honestly can't remember his name right now.
Thane come on now lol.The only character I actually hated was Liara. And I never really liked Jacob, Garrus, Vega or the dying frog boy from ME2...honestly can't remember his name right now.
I honestly could not remember his name! Lmao. Mind you, I haven't touched Mass Effect since before Inquisition came out, so yeah.

Thane. I usually recruit him after the suicide mission to avoid the councilor from being killed or Kirrahe being killed. Otherwise I have no reason to recruit him

Oh, I recruited him as well every time, for the same purposes.
Samara - one of the worst written Bioware characters in ME 2 and ends up like an outright hypocrite in ME 3.
I don't like Thane. His explonation that he don't kill all this people on his revenge trip because he was lost to his selfwas just pathetic.. brr and bevor that as he work as profesional assasin he wasn't responsible too ... According to this logic almost every merc you kill in this game was innocent because there are just working for other ppl goals and for money.
Kai Leng with his allmighty plot shield was just boring, not worthy to be hated.
The vent kid/Star brat are the first one that comes to mind. Hate is a bit to strong a word though.
Kai Leng made me facepalm about every scene he was in. I wouldn't classify my reaction as hatred though, more laughter and disbelief.
Dr. Gavin Archer...what a PoS he is. I wanted to smash his face in when I found out what he did to his brother. I *still* get pissed to this day when I think about it.

yeah samara was pretty dull
yeah samara was pretty dull
Yeah. I hated the part where I couldn't sleep with her. ![]()
It seems a bit obvious to say "I don't like all of those characters who were meanies to the good guys," because you're kind of supposed to dislike them. You're not supposed to like people like Miranda's father. They only exist to forward side plots with the additional characters you're meant to protect and watch over. That's like saying "I don't like terrorists or kitten abusers." That's not a minority opinion, so I don't see a point in sharing it, myself.
If I had to choose a character I liked the least out of all of them, that'd be really difficult, because they each had their own good sides and bad sides. They were each likable in some areas and irritating in others. Like Wrex being both a hardened bad ass and a good friend to Shepard while also carrying "man" stereotypes by calling everyone "princess" all the time, specifically in Citadel. That's what makes the characters so interesting: they're like real people, with things you both enjoy and don't enjoy about them.
But given the choice...
Ashley.
Out of all of them, I think she was the one I wanted to punch the most, and unlike with other people that don't like Ashley, it has nothing to do with her being "racist" against aliens. In fact, I could almost accept that if she wasn't so hostile all the time. She was way too confrontational, and was always looking for an excuse to yell at someone for something. I can't count how many times I spoke through Shepard to tell her to STFU and listen.
Oh, and Kai Leng. He was way too "anime" for my tastes. Keep that stuff in Final Fantasy.
Funniest scene in trilogy. Man the machine his brother was in was so ridiculously over the top I wanted to nerd five him for being the mad scientist genius the Galaxy needed.
Yeah, I don't know what a couple of tubes going down your gullet and the eyelid restraints from A Clokwork Orange have to do with a neural organic-machine interface, but then again I'm not a biower writer who is hamfistedly attempting to demonize toaster "slavery" or whatever else it's called when you use a machine for its intended purpose.
Dr. Archer is among my most loved characters. Should've been a squadmate and a romance option.
I don't hate her. Pointless and stupid to hate virtual characters. Pointless and stupid to hate in general, but that's another topic.
However, I do think that Traynor is the single most pointless addition to the whole trilogy. Or at least on the level with Allers.
Admittedly, personal bias plays a little role in that ![]()
T'soni I hate. After Mars, she had no use except to be shipped off to the crucible project. She is also the single most pointless squadmate in the trilogy
Wow, the Liara hate is strong. Meh, I enjoyed using her Singularity in ME1. Not to mention she was my first alien romance. ![]()
Where does this hate even come from? ![]()
Who do you hate, or just dislike the most, in the Mass Effect series?
It could be anyone, hero, ally, villain or even a random NPC.
There is only one correct answer to this question and it is the Catalyst.
