I find this challenge quite hard.

there are just some kits not even 100 Maurauder Ellbows could force me to play (that long).

how many of you actually did 200 waves with every character?

which was the most "disgusting" one for you?



p.S.: my respect to those who did.
... and even more to the guy(s) who managed a gold solo with every kit. I can remember that
there was somebody whose aim this was.


p.p.S: I think there were records showing which kits are the most (and least) played and what weapons, etc.
It would be great if someone knows where to find this again.

TheNightSlasher and loufi solo'd all kits and all maps on Platinum.I'm not sure who else has.

 

I grinded most character challenges,but still have a few to go.I think the Talon Merc was the biggest PITA so far.

Haven't done it with all, and there is one kit that will be stuck on 10/200 forever - the Talon Merc.

Have done it with most, usually switch around between kits when I'm grinding weapon and Tech/biotic mastery.

I'm another who hated the Talon Merc, but will admit that a Robin Hood build with Graal made him bearable. Never again though.

 

I would have struggled with the Volus Vanguard too, had it not been for the collective genius of BSN pointing me in the direction of the Batarian Gauntlet.

I did it with every character. I'm completionist with this game, to say the least. I can't say that one was really a pita. Since I rarely play the same character twice in a row, I didn't feel any challenge as a huge grinding, even with the Talon merc. A few games to test the different possible builds, a few games here and there spamming Cain mines when I felt lazy or tired, and it was mostly done.

I've done 200 waves with most of the kits, but the ones that I haven't completed I tend to not really play at all. Like the Talon, who I think I've played maybe 10 or 20 waves with in nearly 2000 hours.

Except Talon merc, QMI, Volus vanguard, Volus sentinel, QFI. These are the ones that actually felt like a 'grind' mainly because I simply don't care for these bunch - the rest just happened during the regular course of gameplay.

Yep, absolutely, the Talon Merc was painful, even on console. Apart from that, the Volus Adept and the Juggy were a bit boring, but still, I did the challenge with all characters (I think).

QMI has Husk-Killer 'nades. Throw a Javelin or a Black Widow on him, and go to town. I only use the grenades on him for killing husks, and staggering marauders who are trying to stomp people or elbow people. No tac-scan because selfish.

 

VolSent has pets of distraction, just give him Saber and kill things.

 

These are two of my favourite characters.

I don't like arc grenades, as simple as that - I find it very boring.

 

And if I need a pet I'll use a HE or SE, not a volus. Two pet powers, mediocre weapon passives and that awkward field of view - nah!

 

It's not about the effectiveness of the character - it's about how much I enjoy playing said characters.

I have every silver challenge done at least once except 4 maps platinum since I mainly play gold and none of my friends enjoy shitty plat maps LOL. Oh and the weekend challenges ones since I was a late bloomer. Worst kit for me was probably Quarksman. I don't dislike any kit really, but some, like that one, kinda bore me.

All the Talon merc hate here saddens me! He is fun as long as you don't just cain spam all the time and play him like a melee character. On host is a must though.

Not necessarily, there is a chance on some maps like Rio, for example. Thunderdome though is a lost cause.

I did all of them just for the sake of completing every challenge at least once. For me, Turian saboteur was the worst. I tried sabotage melee build and it was marginally playable but otherwise, he is the worst character for me. For Talon mercenary, I went the easy way with mine spam. At least the games were very fast, so it was not that tedious. Have not touched him since then. Robin Hood build does not work for me but some people play it very well.

Not done the Volus, Krolord, Talon Merc or Vorcha Hunter.  Will get around to all of them, except the Talon, at some point.

Done all of them.  The only challenges I've not completed are Biotic Slash and Platinum solo.  I intend to complete them all some day though.  Whilst I don't play the Talon terribly often, I do quite like him, generally playing a bow build using the Talon pistol.  The novelty of being able destroy a spawn with Cain mines is still new enough to amuse me.

I only did the challenges necessary for Best of the Best and not a single one more. I still don't see the point of playing the MP mode of a game solo, so I haven't done a plat solo.

 

I never completed the challenges for Biotic Orbs/Slash/Hammer. I pretty much never touched the Slayer, the Vorcha Sentinel, the Volus Engineer, the Vorcha Hunter, the Batarian Slasher, the Batarian Brawler, the Asari Vanguard, the Salarian Engineer, the Turian Saboteur, the Drell Vanguard, the Drell Adept, the Volus Mercenary or the Volus Protector. Last time I played the Krogan Sentinel was before there were challenges. If I ever used the Human Infiltrators or Sentinels, then I can't remember. Used the Human Soldier exactly once. Never played the BF3 Soldier.

 

I also never completed the challenges for the Avenger, Vindicator, Katana, Scimitar, Viper, Shuriken, Predator or Phalanx. Haven't used the Mattock since there were challenges.

 

But hey, so I still have stuff left to do in case the current kits start to bore me.

I've grinded most of them, but haven't really come close to all

 

have barely played the male quarians and have only about 150 waves withe BatSent

 

not playing them all at once (I try to alternate characters) and switching weapon loadouts keeps it interesting

 

I kept respeccing the Phoenix Vanguard while I did that challenge

I have completed the 200 wave challenges like 30 times on each quarian. I haven't even bothered to deploy the majority of the others. Why would I when there are quarians?

i did like every challenge on xbox.  on pc i dont care
