Shepard, "Hey, how's it going Jacob?"

Jacob, "Great! been lifting. Feeling great. Doing great. Really everything's great. Great."

Shepard, "That's... uh. Great. Got the roster for this season."

Jacob, "Lemme see it!"

*Jacob reads the roster*

Jacob, "Oh".

Shepard, "Yeah. You're benched."

Jacob, "The whol..."

Shepard finishes, "...season."

I sometimes wonder if this section is addicted to parody.

That said, the OP makes it seem like it's only opposed to human/human bromances, considering the conspicuous lack of reference to Garrus or Wrex.

You really should scroll back to N7 day in the ME3MP section. (aka: the dark abyss I crawled out from)

I weep whenever I think of how many hours of the main story were cut so they could afford to add brofist animations for all those poor voyeuristic nerds out there without a real brofriend.

I didn't care for all the Garrus stuff either.

Wrex was cool until ME3. So was Garrus in ME1 and ME2 for that matter. Neither one really said much. Garrus just calibrated and ****.

I don't have a problem with bromances, as long as they develop naturally and not just have that character be my Bff in the next game for no reason.  *looks at Garrus* But I wouldn't mind starting out with a BFF as a companion.

Or just random female squad mates doing squats with each other.

Everyone knows that Garrus was the ultimate bro of the Mass Effect. So no Garrus then? :(

This thread is racist towards Elcor. We can't brofist.

I'll have you know that I'm clean living. I drink Tequila until I hallucinate, the proper legal way.

Garrus was fine... but Vega came out of nowhere. ;)

You know how some guys can just tell a tranny by looking at her whereas other guys, well. They need a closer inspection...

It's kinda like that.

You and a mate having sexual intercourse with a lady at the same time.

Jeebus. You made me use urban dictionary. I feel unclean. So bromamce = really good friend. We called those best friends or good friends back in my day. Don't see why the term needed updating.

can't do that, but you can be eskimo bros with Garrus if you dump me after ME2.

Same goes for myself and femshep if she dumps Garrus. Actually, dumping him isn't even necessary.

A good friend, is just someone who is liked, but who at any time can become someone who is disliked or a full fledged enemy.

Whereas bromance is like a sister loving her brother. The bond is strong but there is no sex involved.

Spoiler

Also, bromances can also be secret, so long as the mutuality of the bond never fades, actions will speak for themselves.

Fun fact: True bromances are very rare.

In that case, welcome to the somewhat brighter abyss.
