DAO: Alistair, Nathaniel and Wynne (Yes, I know, Nathaniel was in Awakenings, but he is my constant companion in that addition to DA:O)
I know many find Wynne preachy, but I love the fact that she's the one who seems to be looking out for me, checks in to see how I'm doing, and tries to keep me focused on the prize. Yes, she preaches and teaches, but she has my best interests at heart. I loved Wynne throughout the series and shed tears when she made her final exit in the book.
I loved Nathaniel, his dry humor, his intelligence and his growth throughout the game. I never grow tired of him. And I never grow tired of Alistair's self-deprecating humor, and his well-hidden intelligence and leadership skills that pop out when you least expect them.
DA:2 Fenris, Carver and Aveline
Fenris doesn't suffer fools gladly, and that chip on his shoulder really becomes a bone of contention from time to time, but he is true to himself and ultimately to me in the game.
I love Carver too! He is such a younger sibling, obviously late teens, early twenties with all the spit and fire and angst that being that age includes. A young man, trying to figure out who he truly is, and what his purpose is in life. Of course he's an a**. So many men are at that age.
Aveline-truest of true, goddess of order, loyal to the end. I never grow tired of having such a good friend.
Inquisition: Solas, Blackwall and Cassandra (or Cole)
Solas - Wounded healer, man with a terrible secret, tragic figure destroyed once by hubris and about to make the same mistake again. A man who wishes to be good, to be remembered as a hero, but ends up being the villain. For some reason, even though I set my mages up to cast protection spells - he is the one who seems to be most consistent in doing so. He wants so desperately to be good; I wish he could be.
Blackwall - Simple, direct, terrible past, seeking redemption. Best tank in the game.
Cassandra - Hot-headed, but so honest, with herself and her flaws and with others. Woman of action who has the ability to admit her mistakes and seek to repair the damage done by them. The Righteous Warrior, the true Seeker, forever on the path seeking truth.
