Good thing that Gaider moved to another project, although it seems that now Calpernia will inherit Morrigan's plot armor and Weekes still likes Leliana so we can't shake her off.

GoldenGail3 I too have given up.. Too bad he doesn't see  Loghain  for what he really is and the many crimes he has committed.

I'm tickled pink that I will kill Loghain  in my current game. Its all  business.

I see Loghain for exactly as he is but as i said retribution ("business" ) doesn't hold value , because personal grudge as i said doesn't contribute to needed.

My canonical Warden executed him, but not for what happened at Ostagar (She was quite willing to believe that Cailan had died shortly before the beacon was lit, therefore acknowledging that Logain had done the right thing).

No, she killed him because Howe murdered her family (HNF warrior), and Logain went and REWARDED Howe for it?!?  Bad Move, Loghain.  Bad Move.

As Scrooge would say business is business.

I don't think any of us would allow Loghain to live if he sent assassins after us.. Its always in the best interest to kill those that wants to kill you.. Loghain is my enemy.. I will kill him for that reason.

Was this officially confirmed?

No, it is not unless by business you mean retribution for sending assassins after you.

And once again you ignore reality in favor of bias , as i said he doesn't want to kill you he wanted to kill you for a reason that doesn't apply anymore there is a key difference.

Which part? Gaider? Yes, the last thing he'll do for DA is a book, but no more DA games, Bioware moved him to another project.

Well, he has said that he likes her, he even compared her to Corypheus, something about Cory being her Dark-mirror (I know that Corypheus is not the best villain, but at least he was better written than Leliana IMO) Treasspaser ending if she died says that she vanished and left a note saying that the Lyrium "called her" and that "she would return when it's required" Meaning that we have some kind of super-sue that won't be killed even with a nuke.

So, like a cockroach.

I mean I don't hate Leliana, but she's nowhere in my top 10 favorite characters.

No.. I mean it business.. Killing business. You keep adding the retribution theory not me. Lose the Landsmeet and see how fast he wants to kill you.

No , i don't add retribution theory i just call thing for what it is. Once again, that was before and for a reason that is no longer in case, all i need to do is to point to the fact that Loghain didn't try nor had shown any interest in killing you if you recruit him to prove im correct.

No; He sent assassins after you because he didn't want any of the GW to live. Zevran Ariaina is the living proof of this.

I don't hate her either, but she is quite an irrelevant character to be protected on that way over other dudes that were more important for the story.

He sent assassins long before you can recruit him and because you were working against him... , by the time you can decide his fate he has no desire nor reason to kill you anymore what recruiting him proves.

That's because he's already a GW by then, so he's choicen to accept his fate. And he's not a Teryn anymore, either as a GW.

And? Pretty much you confirmed that im correct that Loghain didn't want nor had reason to kill you at this point.

Solas is obviously going to fall victim to the "price of vengeance/agony of redemption" classic, but Morrigan... I foresee her having a narrator role if the series goes long. The epilogue after the Cory campaign was a good enough indicator. At worst she's going to have to fill Flemeth's history-nudging part (hopefully not).

When you think about it IF you play the standard world state/didn't know about her from Origins - she actually has a pretty small role in Inquisition. If it wasn't for the OGB option her place could've been filled by any new character.

This is something not completly accurate, Leliana is one of the most important characters for the franchise.
Her appearence happen prior to the events of DAO and her DLC is on term of quality better than any other in DAO and it explain her story and relation with Orlais the bards, and the chantry.
In DAO and DA2 she has an important role alongside Cassandra and in Dai she is a candidate into being Divine.
Story wise at the moment she is the #1 character mean that due was more involved with the story of this 3 chapters than anyone else.

Excatly this, none is denyng Solas relevance but unlike him , Morrigan story is way too optional to amount to anything.

Except she is not , her role in dao was completely optional unlike characters like Alistair or Morrigan , her role in da 2 was small , forced and unnecessary.Pretty much Leliana "importance" in series comes from being writers pet alone that keep pushing her into many products and that is why she has most appearances but unlike characters like Flemeth and Morrigan that had clear importance and role in the series from get go she isn't important and her role easily could be replaced by new character at any moment.

Optional =/= irrelevant. Quite the opposite in her case. She's a very strong character that's connected to an even stronger character. They could easily bring her back even stronger if they wanted. But in the current case it just makes sense - the OGB option needed closure and it's silly to think that you'll get to do that and then have her on the bench for the Mythal reveal. And they didn't just waste it, but used it to make her grow - from old magic crone to a mother (nice touch IMO). I wouldn't mind her getting the narrator role as her voice is quite pleasing, but empowering her more would be bad. Not only would it open even more plotholes but from a character development point would be a step back as we were clearly shown that she chose her son over old world magic.

EDIT:

Just read the posts above about Leliana which is a good example of shaking a cocktail too much:

She was a spy, but then she discovered the maker. Then she came to our adventure for a bit of both. Then some people tell me she was in DA2 but those memories I asked the shapers to erase. Then she is my spymaster/ex left hand of the divine. And finally (this is the worst part) after a self denying crisis I get to chose if she remains a spy or becomes divine. And no matter if I serve her as inquisitor or dissolve she is still at the op. table in the end as a spy...

What about the Crows you run into in Denerim before the Landsmeet? They seem to be set on killing the wardens. Then you have his aide de camp that wanted to kill you before entering the Landsmeet. She didn't come bearing tea and cakes but,had hidden her men in ambush-ready for the fight.

Loghain backs down after you beat him but, he's still defiant.

Seems the killing season was in full bloom and ends when  Loghain is killed.

That's the sensible way to stop the killing season.

Aside from fact Loghain didn't send them at least directly and crows were after Zevran as they don't appear if you don't have Zevran , it still wouldn't matter because once again that was before Landsmeet when he still wanted to kill you because you worked against him and was threat to his plans what isn't in case anymore after you dealt with him during Landsmeet.

So , no it wasn't sensible way because threat no longer was in case what as i said sparing Loghain proves.
