Note, I did install the "Morrigan Restoration Patch" but it didn't allow me to take Morrigan to the fight to kill Flemeth as the entry in Nexus mods indicated.  If I took Morrigan in my party, we would arrive at the hut and Flemeth wouldn't be there and Morrigan didn't seem to notice where she was.  In camp, it didn't allow me  to bring up the subject.

So anyhow, I went to do the deed without Morrigan and succeeded.  I go back to camp and it won't let me give the Grimoire to Morrigan.  All the dialog will allow is for us to talk about what Morrigan will do to protect herself from Flemeth in the future.

Did I do anything wrong?  Does MRP have unintended consequences?

You gave her the Grimoire from the inventory and she wouldn't accept it? Also, did you use the mod manager?

An easy solution would be to take her anywhere outside the camp and transfer it to her.

The problem is the Grimoire is not in the normal inventory; it's in the plot items section.  So you can't transfer it unless it comes up in the conversation.

For MRP, I just used DAZip, so it installed itself after I downloaded it and clicked on it.

But it's in the miscellaneous section, what it is doing in the plot items?

Is it working? did you get the extra scenes?

It seems like you have a mod conflict, if you have some other dialog fix you can delete Morrigan_main.dlg from it and leave the one in MRP .

Did you get "the return from the wilds" scene.

The Grimoire being in the plot items section is definitely caused by the MRP.

If she didn't take the grimoire as part of the conversation, the plot item should revert as a gift and you can return later and give it to her.

You can transfer the grimoire as a gift using the command "runscript zz_party_addgifts".

I advice you to check the other mods you're having they might had override MRP. And installing the mod manually is the best way to make sure MRP fixes take priority over everything else.

I haven't run into any new scenes.   I have noticed some new banter involving Morrigan.  What other mods would mess with MRP?  Aside from the various fix pack mods, I have LRS.  So what should I do?  Uninstall MRP?  Then reinstall manual?

You could use the override version of LRS_Leliana_V2 & then delete the LRS_DR_Dialogue directory.

When you say various fix pack mods, Qwinn_DOA_Fixpack also overrides morrigan_main.dlb & morrigan_main.dlg

I've gotten MRP to work.  I installed it manually (many thanks for the recommendation) and had a "returning from the Wilds" scene in camp where the Warden turns the Grimoire over to Morrigan.  I also went back before my fight with Flemeth to see if I could drag her down to the Wilds to fight Flemeth.  That scene did appear though there was no fight; Flemeth was a no show.  Morrigan nervously acknowledged the situation.

So, does MRP change any scenes earlier in the game?  The initial venture into the Wilds to join the wardens?  For that matter, how about during any of the main quests?  Nature of the Beast?  Redcliffe?  Orzamar?

There's some scenes in the circle. Other than that nothing big.
