And of course you have the parody theme which I evidenced in the "Bromance" thread stealing "shameless"ly from LSDElcor(Okay okay Tequila) and has now (d)evolved into just saying no to the Game of (b)Romances altogether.
So really, when you dig a bit, it's a three dimensional troll thread with some nice .gifs you don't usually see on a game forum.

A bold new direction in video games was set today when Bioware shipped the first-ever Theoretical Game: an empty cartridge containing a letter to their fans directing them to imagine their own adventures in the Andromeda galaxy. Gamers will no longer have to deal with the harsh reality that no game could possibly live up to the expectations of an entire fanbase and are free to craft a "perfect" adventure that exists only in their own minds.

Yeah no, it's really not superhard to find someone gushing about their Pokemon card collection, as I may or may not have listening to recently, or over the most recent Blizzard cinematic.
It's really irritating that Bioware pre-supposes to speak for gamers or gaming fans in general, they're kind of a tiny minority in many ways. If their fans are stuck in a High School goth rebel phase, that's their thing.

Well, or just take on a different profession like accounting or something where you don't have to worry about subjectivity and so on and so forth, no one forced any of these people to be game designers and developers.
