Okay so right now I am reading Asunder by David Gaider. And I read Solasmance (my fave) fanfics all of Slow Arrow by pushtheheart and Keeping Secrets by Elven Semi.
What else do you recommend? Keeping Secrets was enjoyable and addicting but is probably my max cap for "smut"
Slow Arrow is, as I said elsewhere, flooring....I...it is incredible. And I can't wait for the next installment. Cerebral, romantic, everything I want.
I prefer the mage-Templar stuff to Celene/Game stuff, which is why I'm reading Asunder before Masked Empire. The first chapter detailing Cole's story is of particular interest to me.
What else is good???

For solavellan, I'm currently reading "Looking Glass" by Feynite and its been great so far. Other than that, I've read a lot of Varric/Cassandra stuff cus I swing that way. lol Most of the fic for that is good quality, as well. At least on AO3.

If you haven't already read them I suggest the following books The Calling, The Masked Empire,The Last Flight and The Stolen Throne.
These books give excellent backgrounds to the games.

If you're primarily interested in stuff that pertains to DAI I would also highly recommend The Masked Empire after reading Asunder. It's written by Patrick Weekes, Solas's writer, and has elfy stuff in it, as well as content that expands more on the Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts arc. Can't help with fanfic though, except to suggest that, if you have a Tumblr to do some searching on there, in addition to the categories provided by AO3.

Some authors I totally enjoy on the Archive of Our Own website are : GorillaInTheMist, Ginger_Pop and jlcamp09, tatteredspider, pixievhenan, salesman and so many others. Sometimes that site is just like youtube for me, one good story leads me to reading another and finding a different author and other good stories.

You should definitely read The Masked Empire! I loved all the books I've read (still haven't finished The Stolen Throne yet, sigh).
As far as fics go, I have to say that Message Sent by Aicosu is probably one of my favorites. I like Daras, Daran by BreatheInBreatheOutMoveOn - their writing style is so refreshing imo. They're both modern AUs, though so, if that's not your thing, maybe Apotheosis by Eithe - there's only two chapters so far but it seems very promising. They're all Solavellan, I'm kind of addicted to Solavellan. They are all also on archiveofourown - that's where I generally come across most of the stories I read.
