Yep. Same for me. I wonder why this bothers some people.

Why? What if ME:A is a complete load of ******? Would you still buy it if it has Mass Effect in the title?
My guess for Cyberpunk 2077 is a first announcement sometime in early or mid 2017, for a holidays 2017 release. And later in 2017 (after summer) they'll delay it for Q1 or Q2 2018. But it's just a wild guess right now. I just don't see a development studio like CDPR barely spending 2 years on Cyberpunk, especially considering how CDPR is obsessed with attention to details (and yeah that's presuming a release in 2017, which would be roughly a two years project, there's no way it's enough).
I think they've been working on it for longer than that already. We got that (admittedly useless) teaser back in 2012 or so. But unless I'm mistaken, I believe most of the Witcher 2 team moved right on to Cyberpunk.
They threw all their manpower behind getting the third game finished even with a delay.

Yes cause I would have pre-ordered it. But if it's bad, I'd buy it only once!
Mount&Blade II Bannerlord
The Guild 3
Hearts of Iron IV
Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13 (eng version, though I doubt it's going to happen)
While some good games coming out next year, Bioware doesn't have direct competition. I would probably pick up, Project X Zone 2, Fire Emblem Awakening, Street Fighter V, Mass Effect. Would love to see Fallout 4 DLC next year.
Competition for ME:A next year
(besides the annualized juggernauts):
Must haves for me:
Uncharted 4
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Star Citizen
No Man's Sky
XCOM2
Wait and see list:
Something from Rockstar - "RDR2 closer than you think"
Next God of War?
Quantum Break
Gears 4
Final Fantasy XV
Next Crackdown?
Next Kingdom Hearts?
The Last Guardian?
Telltale's Walking Dead Season 3 / TFTBL Season 2
They can release the game whenever they want, providing the game's awesome
No Legend of Zelda Wii-U? Come on guys.
Don't you have a HYAT!
There are rumors circulating that wii U could be replaced soon. As with any Nintendo console there's only about 5 games I would buy e.g Zelda, Metroid, Starfox, pikmin, probably splatoon so I will wait until I can emulate on PC as I did with wii u and gc titles. I wish they would just do a Sega already. Also Zelda fanbase largely wouldn't care about ME:A I'm guessing. No Legend of Zelda Wii-U? Come on guys.

Spoiler
It worries me when people say things are a 'must buy' without any idea of the quality or value of a product.
If you don't buy it you'll never find out. And no, I don't consider reviews or any critic's blabber about a product as a replacement for actually playing a game. I will only judge a game I've played myself. Reviews are stupid anyway, people have different tastes and a review doesn't help one bit if your taste differs from that person, but of course you'll never know unless you play it yourself.
I'm used to buying games looking at their cover and reading the basic story on its back, and it brought me some amazing times I wouldn't wanna miss.
I'd have put that on my list too, but I suspect it will be pushed back to 2017. They hit a LOT of stretch goals
Wouldn't be at all surprised ... on the plus-side though, it'll give me a bit more time to finish some of my game backlog; clear the decks before it's released so to speak ![]()
Any word on when cyberpunk is coming out? It's not Shadowrun...
Keeping an eye on that one myself...

I will be infinitely disappointed in CDPR if Cyberpunk doesn't have the chops to allow me and my friends to make our Cyberpunk 2020 characters and then group up for some jobs. ![]()
A Solo, a Techie, and a Nomad, kicking up trouble in Midnight City... that will be awesome.

me as well especially after how the first 3 turned out.
Im more interested in The Division, done right that will blow ME:A out the water far as im concerned, but well its Ubisoft

I have been looking at that one as well. My stance is cautiously enthusiastic because well it is Ubisoft.
I'm not sure it will replace ME:A, but if done right Destiny will have some serious competition; it will all come down to which console semi-MMO is going to screw over the player base less.
If the Division can live up to its promises, and have an actual coherent plot it will already be miles ahead of what Destiny had out of the gate.
P.S. I really hope that the controllable drones are still in the game. Last I heard, the companion app was scrapped (thank God) but that the UAV gameplay was going with it
I'm hoping that this particular feature gets reintegrated into the main game.
Goes through Wikipedia list (games that just especially strike my interest, bolded is stuff I'm at least tempted to 'preorder'... not that I will):
-XCOM2
-Quantum Break
-Mirror's Edge: Catalyst
-No Man's Sky
-Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
-Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns (but aiming to get all 3 on PC as a pack)
-VR...ness. Just VR hardware and gaming. As a thing.
-Allison Road
-Crossing Souls (lol weird)
-Final Fantasy XV
-Horizon: Zero Dawn
-Nier: Automata
-Persona 5
-Pokemon GO ![]()
-Pokkén Tournament
-Republique
-Torment: Tides of Numenera (backed, so I'm getting it anyway)
-DOOM
-Mass Effect: Andromeda
Priority is on upgrading PC hardware, but open to myself or my partner getting a PS4, and then... maybe.. VR gear.. but that could be more of a 2017 idea. Anything XB1 will be of least priority.
I have all sorts of catch-up to do. I'm not getting TW3 until I completely finish the first two. I'm not getting FO4 until I at least finish my FO:NV. I'm not going to care about Kingdom Hearts anything until I get some complete pack of all the revised KH1-KH2 cycle of games. And so on. Dishonored, anything AC, Farcry, blah blah.
For MMOs, there's little interest in new or upcoming games, but:
-SWTOR class stories and catching up to KOTFE
-RIFT... just playing RIFT. New expansion in 2016 possibly.
-TSW catching up in content and DLCs to finish the Tokyo arc.
Looking through the thread, hell yes I want to hear more about Cyberpunk 2077 too!
I'm very excited for gaming next year! Even though there's very few titles that are MUST HAVES, that's a pretty normal thing for me, and I'm more interested in how it seems like the this console gen is finally growing and starting to mature.
I can't speak for marketing timing, but I'm not worried about other games interfering with MEA playtime. I might ask to have it as a birthday gift if it releases Nov-Dec (maybe even Oct), and I'm actually okay-ish with waiting until I upgrade GPU (though mine is as good as a current gen console so I don't NEED to) and patches and DLC etc happen.
1. Mass Effect: Andromeda
2. XCOM 2
3. Dishonored 2
Those last two are severely underrepresented here, I'd really recommend them.
Also, the more ME fans playing XCOM, the better the chance that someone will use XCOM 2's modding to make a Mass Effect mod...
Oh I would love to see a Mass Effect total conversion mod for XCOM 2. I have also read a developer Q&A where they said that the modding suite was robust enough to code in a co-operative campaign.
So to any and all modders out there, if you could create a co-operative XCOM 2 campaign as well as a co-operative ME mod I would be giving you all of the likes and internet cookies you could ever want.
