of this scene's playability, and why do i have to sit through "All is lost" intro every time a f***ing Turian won't die despite getting shot in the head three times?
What is the point

Don't use acolyte for those pistol scenes?

I think it's not even possible to use the Acolyte here. The Carnifex is the mandatory weapon.Don't use acolyte for those pistol scenes?
@OP
Everything during Priority: Earth is screwed. It's by far the most unpopular mission in the series.

I agree, Literally the hardest part of my insanity run, The recoil of the carnifex is too long to make precise headshots inorder to stagger marauders shields. The three huskateers were also annoying since they might make me waste my mag. I had to restart 5 times inorder to finish the perfect 100% asset run. Killing five banshees and 12 brutes was no problem though. but not sitting through the long cutscene waiting for a another try at killing genocide run marauder shields.

Oh difficulty of it is the issue....I only needed two times to get it. First time I didn't even realize what I had to do. Second time passed it with no problem.

yeah on normal it is. But on insanity marauder shields only gives you a fraction of a second to readjust your aim and stagger him. he also has more health and the recoil of the gun throws your aim off. Funny he is a more difficult "boss" than kai leng on insanity which is hilarious. I don't know if the carnifex they give you is level 1 or if it's the same in your arsenal.

Well we will see I only have Priority Earth left in my Insanity run when I manage to get around to it again.

The Carnifex in the above scene is not the same gun that you picked up earlier in the campaign. It actually has infinite ammo, more recoil, slower reload, no zoom, less accuracy, etc.

it is funny though, first gun to fire in the series is Carnifex, and it's also the last(Well, unless you let Illusive man shoot himself).

Video or it didn't happen, and referring to your last post is not really good evidence either.

Yeah, has the wrong reload animation as well.
I personally don't like much of anything after you launch the Thanix Missiles (ignoring the fact that a Thanix Missile doesn't make a whole lot of sense in and of itself). The last couple times I just hit Alt-F4 at that point.
The goofy low movement speed and such would have been less painful if the "suspense" that built up actually had a satisfactory payoff.

I got a console. Not fighting my way all the way though Cerberus base and earth to record a 1 minute video to prove this.
The first time I got dropped like a rock. Second time I kept him off balance with chest shots and killed him with a head shot. Playing on Gold MP side really got me good at learning how to aim up head shots. ![]()
Honestly after playing on gold for a while getting back into insanity play though made it a lot easier.

So do I
Talking about how big your peen is not going to convince me. I've done that a bunch of times when I'm bored or experimenting with weapon load outs.

You don't have to accept it if you don't want to. If I could fast forward right to that point I'd do it for you. But my ego is not so easily bruised that I would play a half hour or so of the game just to record 1 minute of video to placate a random person on the forums.
It took me 2 tries to kill the marauder. The first time he killed me out right the second time with a little aiming down the sights. Torso, torso, shield drop, torso, stagger, miss, head shot, head shot, torso, dead.

I'm just asking for proof. I assumed that long gap between replies meant that you went out, doned your n7 Armour and fought the final boss on insanity. You can't pull feces out of your bum and expect people to take it as it is! Put some pepper or spices on it!

People don't play games on insanity on their first run. Aka when they buy the disc and plop it in fresh. You played normal or you are replicating the time when you called volus op for being able to kill things.

No the long gap exists because I was busy with other games. Skyrim, Kingdom Hearts 2.5, starting and playing an ME1-2 renegade Vanguard as well as Runescape on top of work and general life having.
Is this another one of those ego things? Were you can't accept someone you view as lesser then you can pull off something you can't? On my insanity play though it only took me 2 tries to kill the jack in the box marauder that shows up after the 3 husks. I'm sorry if you struggled with that during your insanity play though needing more times. But I was able to do it on the second try of my insanity play though.
Fact is the game set you up perfectly for it if you spend any amount of time with a sniper it should be easy as pie insanity or not. ADS shoot, release button during recoil and repeat. Time slowed down for the effect it is just like using the Black Widow with time dilation mod on it.
And I stand by OP volus claim. Double cloak that done right can be maintained indefinably. Any time you start to take damage shield boost negates it. Which you can use any time because it isn't bound to cloak effect. Heavy melee that can restore shield. Slowly granted but faster then letting it start recharge normally. And the only trade off is you can't use cover which is made up for the fact that your so short you don't need to get to cover all that much just standing behind a crate will protect you. All the benefits and almost no trade offs is the very definition of OP.

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyways. Because bees don't care what humans think is impossible, Ironically this stupid joke once again explains the nature of the volus. And we are getting off topic. We both should quiet down before we get bannu
this has less to do with my feelings, I am skeptical of what you say because quote ".I only needed two times to get it. First time I didn't even realize what I had to do. Second time passed it with no problem."
Assuming you were refering to your first playthrough, Doing the exact same thing in insanity is unlikely. The enemies have more health and the end game carnifex is slow. As i described you are allowed a small window of opportunity to pull of the shots. I demand evidence, and then i would be satisfied. Maybe you are a good shot. But that's just maybe, it's not definite. I can't take your word for it.

Actually they figured out how bees flew in the middle ages. Then for some reason we display less intelligence then people in the middle ages that are stereotyped as the idiot years compared to before and after in the Renaissance time. By acting completely surprised by how they fly. Dark Ages 1 Modern Age 0.
Bee's flight is more analogical to a helicopter then a plane. High pressure under the wings with a low pressure space above them creating flight.
You brought up volus. Double cloak that is independent of each other and power usage, shield boost that the only reason anyone complains about is an occasional bug that locks up gun without heavy melee/stagger and shield repairing heavy melee. Thats some OP stuff.
Yes my first post claims that it only took me 2 times to do it. Which you also seem to ignore for what ever reason that I admit it wasn't on insanity. On my second post is when I do it on insanity. So I am already well aware of what will happen and what order to do things in.
Increased in health is fairly obvious comparing the two play though. How ever using a sniper as primary and only weapon for 9/10th of the game only switching to SMG when I run out of ammo. Not to mention the hours spent playing Gold level mission on the MP side of this game. Knowing how to aim, compensate for recoil and target again isn't that hard to do.
Then again it could just be my play style. I prefer precision shots. I always aim for the head and hate using spray and pray approach. Which is why I have been having fun lately using Krogan Vanguard with Executioner pistol. Biotic charge in then head shot for instant death for anything that isn't a phantom or atlas level enemy.

For those who may not of known. If playing on narrative mode, the three husks do not show up. Just Marauder shields.

Bring up unimportant stuff and I will reply to it with full seriousness. Stick to the topic and I will stick to it. Don't bring up any point you aren't willing to argue.
I am sorry if it took you more then 2 attempts to kill the marauder on insanity. For me I did not need more then 2 attempts to kill him. You can or you can't believe me. Your choice and your issue.
The complaint is this part of the game is very hard requiring many based on OP post attempts to beat it. When I did it on insanity it only took me 2 tries. You seem to be trying pretty hard to call me a liar.
Why is that?
