Made me excited just to see Jade Empire getting some attention. I already made all my friends buy this game on Steam though when it was almost free. I will probably download it from Origin and play it again just because of how amazing it is, in honor of the anniversary.

Got it too, I hadn't played it in years as my old codes wouldn't work because the old BioWare servers haven't been running for a few years now and couldn't authenticate it for installation..
I just spent the last 5 hours enjoying the game again!

Now if only someone could figure out how to swap out those horrible bitmap fonts made for 800x600 displays.
Changed the config to make it work with my resolution.

But I messed up my save file and reverted an hour of gameplay. Poo. I'll get the desire to play again later sometime.
So what is the trick to make it work? Cause I'm running Windows 10 and it looks like it's running at about 5fps.
anyone which missed this amazing game I highly recommend it.
also it has distinct 3 different endings so play it at least twice to see the whole package.
I think it had been a full year or more since I last touched Origin, but I to go there for Jade. Already have the physical disk & bought it on GOG so it was nice it being free.

That Sucks. I just bought it on Steam a couple of days back for 4$. Could've eaten something with that.
I'm unable to launch the game. 
Spent hours installing it > couldn't launch > called for tech support > uninstalled and re-installed game > couldn't launch again > called tech support again > game still can't freakin launch. I'm on windows 10. What do I do?? I absolutely loved playing this game on xbox growing up and am so excited it's free on pc, but this isn't what I was looking forward to!!
I was really pleased when I saw JE was available for £5.99 in the recent Black Friday(?) Origin sale and snapped it up sharpish (along with The Witcher 2 EE and a bunch of DAI DLC) but I was less thrilled when a few days later I saw it was suddenly available for free 'On The House'. Luckily, as I hadn't actually got around to installing it in Origin I was able to get a refund using the 'Great Game Guarantee' and then grab the freebie!
