They have a few songs in Mass Effect. I bet you've heard a few of them.

Edmonton, what else are you going to do there but admire the most dirty city in Canada and get drunk while listening to a local band?

M4 wasn't made for Mass Effect or anything.
I hope Faunts and Jack Wall are back.

Wouldn't be against it, they've made good tie in music. But at the same time, I think of M4 Part 2 or the Credits song, and I think of the Shepard trilogy. Maybe for the new game, the new setting, the new protagonist, we also get a new distinctive musical style.
Not against it, but not necessarily 100% for it either. I mean, with the use of 'Ghost Riders in the Sky,' it kinda already sounds like they're going in a different musical direction, so it might not fit what else they're doing with Andromeda's musical style.

I loved their songs but it reminds me too much of Shepard which is bittersweet, so it's a no for me.
I was worried though for a second when they started to play Johnny Cash in the first trailer. It didn't remind me of Mass Effect at all and there was a small confusion first. I like it as a classic, and I am used to it now but to be honest, one of my top reasons to love this trilogy is the ambient background music.

What's a Faunt?
Faunts are an electronic rock band from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Some of their songs were used in the trilogy.

Watch end-game credits?
You don't seriously expect everyone to look through and remember the credits of every video game they play, do you? ![]()

No, but the music of the Faunts likely sticks, because it's good.

I would have recognized if I listened to it but the name of the band? No chance.

I'd like that. It would bring a bit of continuity, and they definitely added to the mass effect 'feel'.

I hope they stick with the whole space rock genre. I still remember listening to Faunts that first time I beat ME1 and feeling embarrassingly emotional. ![]()

As long as they don't repeat those lovely "light blue on white" and "red against yellow" text colour choices from ME 2, they can use whatever font they like.
