I was sort of able to make a (vanilla) Asian character in ME3.

She looks wonky as fu in the other games though.
As long as the character creator is good, I enjoy messing around with facial sliders, but I agree it would be so much easier if there were decent presets.
Whoa,The second looked amazing

Holy crap! Finally a thread about hot asians. You have no idea how long I've been waiting for something like this to pop up. I tried making asian Grey Wardens, asian Hawkes, asian Inquisitors, and asian Shepards, and I just can't make the character to the way I want.
I fully support a feature that would allow me to make hot asians, as well as having them as companions.
Oh and Yoona. Only the most beautiful of them all. I tried replicating her (and others) but I just can't man! I just can't. It's impossible ![]()

Yoshimi says what?
Don't get me wrong, I'm always for more options and more intuitive character creators. It's DOABLE in all three Mass Effects -- this girl required only a few tweaks to haul her into three -- but it could stand to be a bit easier to get more unique features. Especially for dudes, because while making femShep is pretty easy, it takes WORK to make dudeShep not a hambeast. Since DAI is pretty user-friendly for both genders, I've got grand hopes for Andromeda!
Unmodded, I do not regret the pun.

The differences between local chinese and /-born chinese might not be obvious in foreigners' eyes, but it is very obvious for one chinese to distinguish one from one immediately on first sight.

Will Bioware finally allow us to have pre-set with more of an ethnic look? Many games including Fallout 3 and 4, and online games allow you to make variety of ethnic characters. I like to make my character Asian, but it's just so hard with Bioware games. Some people just want to make characters that resemble them since it's a roleplaying game, and it's hard with the CC Bioware uses. Asians are especially hard compared to Blacks and Whites since the facial structure is more toned and less edges, and their eyes shaped differently, some may not have double eyelids. I feel like the CC seems to use a frame that has more caucasian outlook. I don't mind at all, but at least give us an Asian pre-set for us to work with. I can create Black, White, Hispanic, but it's hard when you try to make a convincing Asian character in Bioware games.
I tried for a long time to make an Asian FemShep based on my favorite female wrestler Gail Kim. I never got a skin tone that looked or felt correct so I finally gave up.

From what I read Gail Kim is of Korean decent although she was raised in Canada.

I want more and accurate representations of various races. In some games, I have like one or two presets for a black male or black female. In ME1, I was satisfied with the pre-set black character, he kind of looked like my pops. So sometimes if I'm too lazy to create myself then I'd roll with the pre-set.

It seems BiowareMod02 doesn't like pranks of good humour.
Anyway, I'm a fat guy and I want a fat character. Also I have a mental disorder, and again I want to choose my psychiatric profile.

Oh dear god be careful what you wish for. Going off past results the asians might come of looking like that midwife from the startrek reboot.

The asians will become the first player character aliens in mass effect, but not by design.

I like that the OP helpfully posts photos of Asian people to let us know what Asians look like. Thank you OP.
You're very welcome. Maybe you and Bioware can take notes.

Good facial models that I can use for my synthetic wife in the future.

I'm going to be that guy and ask why the South African face is Caucasian.
Statistics South Africa asks people to describe themselves in the census in terms of five racial population groups. The 2011 census figures for these groups were Black African at 79.2%, White at 8.9%, Coloured at 8.9%, Indian or other Asian at 2.5%, and Other/Unspecified at 0.5%. https://en.wikipedia...a#Ethnic_groups

Into the Badlands, the highest debuted cable show this season. Imagine that , Asian males being put in the lead and sexually desirable.
He's hot, loved him in Europa Report. But that show is terri-bad.
