I'm not really excited about it. There was a point when all Mass Effect news had me on the edge of my seat, but those days are over. My enthusiasm has faded enough that when the Fallout 4 teaser and ME:A teaser were released, I got goose bumps and a chill down my spine when I saw the FO4 trailer, but felt very "meh" about the ME:A teaser. The Fallout franchise isn't my favorite game series. It's not in my top five favorite game series. But here I was, completely hyped about Fallout but not really interested in Mass Effect.

Maybe I'll change my mind when more information is released, and I hope I do because ME:A will probably be a damn fine game. But I've grown so attached to a particular set of characters that anything with the same title that doesn't feature them is going to taste pretty sour.

I'm pretty excited.

I kind of wish there was a Zim in Andromeda.

Having a race like the Irkens would be amazing.

Yes let's all talk about how we don't care about a game while we're sitting on the forum for the same game.

It's a community, not the product hype department.

Why be a part of a community for something you don't care about? Seems like a ridiculous way to spend your time, unless you're just after attention from like minded people, in which case there have to be more constructive ways to get the same satisfaction.

I have lost count on how many times I have pleasured myself to this image.

Interestingly enough, I'm not attracted to men. So, yeah...

I'll guess you might want to divide the word excitement from the word caring and then take your foot down from the presumption pedal.

It's an beginner level comprehension exercise.

Technically s/he said 'not care' in their initial post not 'excited.' And there ARE people on here who insist that they do not care but still hang around.

Game is still a year away.  I am excited but my hype won't really kick in probably until E3 when they actually start showing stuff.

Not really excited about anything at all now. That includes ME:A.

That I poke in here from time to time is just to keep myself distracted for a moment.

This is a futuristic armour? Held together by belts? Really, now.....

Might be the bad lighting on my computer but I only see one bit that's arguably a belt as well as looks to be a separate piece and that's around the waist of the armor.

Do you mean those grey stripes with red squares that's around the upper arms and thighs? Because I think that's just the armor's color scheme playing tricks on the eyes rather than separate pieces of armor.

I still care about Dragon Age.  Heck I'm having an interesting debate about the possible nature of the Maker in that forum.  And I'm curious curious about the 3rd IP.

Mass Effect is something I used to care about.  And am curious to see how they plan on digging themselves out of the whole they fell into with ME3.  But so far my interest is kinda like seeing a train crash in progress...horrifying, but I can't look away.

Right now, there's not enough information to get excited (and some things like the human protagonist didn't help either)...I guess I am more "curious/interested" than "excited":

Familiar music, even? Yeah I know Vigil's theme comes up at the end, but that's in the closing seconds, and the Mass Effect: Andromeda title was already revealed at that point. With all respect to Johnny Cash, his music doesn't exactly scream "Mass Effect" and Starcraft has already claimed the "western in space" motif.

When I read this part something hit me. How could you see the Mass Effect:Andromeda trailer without already knowing that it's a Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer? Don't you see that on the webpage where you found it, on the link that you followed, and so forth.

And let's say that they use it as a commercial or some such. Why do they need to establish that it's Mass Effect early rather than late? The point is to sell the game, not to establish that it's a Mass Effect game.

What are we even talking about here? I still think that it looked plenty Mass Effect to me, but why does that even matter?

Having a bit of confusion there, myself. Teasers aren't always known for pulling out all the stops to hit you over the head with what the game is about. They're meant to provide an extremely small taste to make you say "hmm, I wonder what's happening". I think what's being asked for here is more akin to a launch trailer.

I need some more information before I can get excited. So far we haven't seen much from the game, and what I've heard from the leaks hasn't impressed me. So far I'm still stuck at 'curious'.

The point is to sell a Mass Effect game, yes?  That's why "Mass Effect" is in the title, I assume.  Otherwise why not make a whole new IP.  Probably be easier after that mess they left in the last game.

And that's why it matters.  Is this truly a Mass Effect game?  Or is it Mass Effect in name only?  Cashing in on name recognition and notoriety?

Frankly I don't want them to spoil everything, Mass Effect 1 was exciting to follow at launch and nobody really had any idea what it was truly about (spoiler alert: Reapers), only that it involved a future where we could freely travel between planets and there were companions and some mysterious robots. Even the title "Mass Effect" was lost on most people until they played the game. I don't see a reason why ME:A should have to explain itself so much, don't be like ME2 and be spoilerific.

Anyways, super excited for this game.

I know that after the ending fiasco of ME3 I should be cautious and skeptical about MEA but I do have to admit that my excitement level is extremely high...

I'm interested enough to be here after a long break. I've started replaying the trilogy and tried out MP which is awesome and I'm kicking myself for not playing it in its prime. But excited, not really as its far off and we know nothing.
