I read somewhere ages ago, something along the lines of;

"You must not redistribute anything inside of Neverwinter Nights 2"

If anyone could verify and send me the link to said place, I've been looking and can't find it at all :/

Reason why it's in this thread is, if anyone does know what I'm on about, I assume that it's illegal to, say;

Create a module which is only accessible to people who have paid me money for example. (I don't have this intention, but given the scenario).

As I interpret the language of the EULA, yes, that would be illegal.

[Modules] may not be commercially exploited by you, including but not limited to making such Variations available for sale or as part of a pay-per-play or timesharing service.

It does not seem to forbid accepting donations for your time, though.

I understand donations being fine, but what about donating FOR content?

Our project has a patreon (people have wanted to donate numerous of times before in the past) and as a thank you, they get a statue in our lobby, and if they donate a certain amount, they get to design a quest (within reason).

As long as you're not making exclusive content that you're withholding from people who don't make these donations, I don't think it falls afoul of the wording here.  Non-paying players can still see the statues and play the quests that the other people designed, right?

Yes, anyone can see them, they hold no benefits.

I'm 100% against the "Pay to win/pay to play" scheme, but I was just curious on how far the rules went on it.
