Is this still a thing? Used to be posted in the HQ section what the upcoming challenge was for the next weekend, but I don't see it now. It's been a fair bit since I've played, so unsure if this is still an ongoing thing or not. I am happy to see that the multiplayer still has a very healthy population of players still. Always a great time to run a few maps with folks.

No development, no challenge weekends for a looooooooong time. There are alternatives, Prestacious has a themed challenge topic that I believe is still ongoing. (I've never done it) and Mgamerz has a bunch of mods to make the game more interesting (or more balanced if you want).

I heartly endorse this product and/or service. (Am I doin' it right?)

Trust me, I've looked in depth to how challenges work, but they code is just too complex. Challenges are just an extension of other stat "grinders" that existed when the game launched.

The main reason I asked is completion of the Squad Mastery I think, requires the N7 Weekend challenges for completion, 3 levels worth. Unfortunately I stopped playing still needing a couple of them, so I guess that will be incomplete for the time being.

You don't need to complete the 3 N7 Weekend Challenges to complete Squad Elite banner. You only need to complete 8/12 challenges to get that banner. You can skip 1 other challenge other than these 3 and you will still get the Squad Elite banner.
