So, Jade Empire is free on Origin at the moment, and I download it because I freaking love that game. the problem is, when I try to start it up, it won't let me, basically saying it can't find the .dll file. this confuses me because I just got it for free off Origin. shouldn't it have given me that as well? I had my friend (who is also running Windows 10 64-bit) try to open it to see if it would work. his worked like a charm. even after updating, mine refuses to open, giving me the same message. I don't get it. if someone could help me point out the problem and help me fix it, I'd really appreciate it.

I've had the same problem. Installing newest version of DirectX helped me. This link worked for me: http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=8109

So, what if you do have the latest version of directx and it still have the same issue? I've also already tried altering the compatibility issues. I've come so far that I can start the launcher/configurator, but not the game itself - claims a DLL is missing... this really irks me to no end...
