so a friend invited me to play , and I have been gone for a while and it says the servers are down this has been the case since last night..... so about 12 hours or more so far, is this just me  or just Xbox one ...?

Playstation 4 is working fine.

 

Maybe a friend/relative corrupted your game so you don't get addicted again?

 

It could also be Dragon Age not allowing anyone to connect that doesn't know what a combo is.

The Xbox server performance has been sheer and utter trash for about 4 or 5 days.  Needs a reboot or something.  I would guess that 7 out of 10 attempts to quick join the last 4 days have resulted in the 'could not connect error'.  I've had to host most of the times to be able to play.

There was a server issue recently that must have required a reset - I know because I lost approximately 300 spider kills on the Arachnophobia challenge...

Yea, I just started playing again two days ago on the Xbox one and connection has been getting worse. I just tried for 10 minutes without success.

I've been having terrible luck connecting

I've faced the Druffy faction 2 times this week with less then 20hrs between them. I doubt my birthday earlier this week has anything to do with it.
Also yesterday I got a "Limited Time Event".
Im on the PS4.
