I was thinking to buy the new "Legends" game, but the reviews were quite off putting.  I started reminiscing about the good old days of NWN and the active player community... so I decided to load the old games and see if there was still a community out there.  So here I am.

 

I wanted to download a few of the modules here and get back into the NWN gaming experience.  But I find that my EA password for this forum is not working on the modules page.  Is that because I just joined and there is a delay?  Or do I need a separate account... and if so why?

 

It is nice to see there is still support for the best D&D PC game ever made.  I hope to make some new friends, and maybe find some old ones.

 

Oh, and where can I find a good source for portraits?  I once had so many, but that PC is long gone.

As far as the portraits go, you are in luck. When it became obvious that the old ign vault was not long for this world a number of people rallied around and grabbed the stuff from there. As time has gone by more and more of this has been posted to the "front office" of the current vault so that they are currently available. At this time, this is happening with the portraits in manageable chunks. So if you don't see some fondly remembered portrait, just wait and it should turn up soon.

Another problem: This PC is not the one I used back in the old days. So my version of the game is not the fully updated version.  Where can I find the updates?  I have been looking around the site here, and have not seen an updates section... or i may just be blind.

Everything you need for custom NWN made it to the new vault plus I think it must be easier than IGN to upload new stuff because there is a lot of activity (and lots of new art).  If you remember any CC from IGN but canna find it, is still in Rolo archive somewhere so msg an admin to help find it or load it (or you could do it yourself!) for easier access.  If you know the old IGN ID number, it very easy to find in archive.

 

Oh... and happy to see you try NWN agin after long ~vacation~ !!!
