I have the same error. When i saw it was free i added it at my games and closed origin. Now i am trying to start the download, but after few minutes of waiting it shows that window of your. The game is still free to download, so there shouldn't be any problem.
If you find the way to download it, please let me know, i'll do the same ![]()

Tried a few fixes I found on the internet (enabling safe mode download in the settings, turning off firewall, clearing origin caches) and it didn't work. I'm thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling Origin but I don't want to mess up my ability to play other games I have installed.
Please post the solution if you find it!
With antivirus off, tried several times and at the end it worked. Maybe connection stability is the matter.

I had that problem, than after a few minutes of waiting, I tried again and it downloaded. Took longer than I thought. A few moments later, I got an email confirming the order. The only problem I have is trying to install the game.
I've had the same problem too. Tried downloading in safe mode, exiting Anti-virus program. The Error 196613:206 shows up everytime I try to download. Any solution to try out other than re-installing Origin would be helpful.
I can't download anything in Origin anymore, including games I've owned for years that downloaded and installed fine before. I've also sent them error reports, and it's been over 6 months, and I've tried all kinds of things, like completely uninstalling Origin, downloading the latest version and installing from that, etc., using safe downloading mode, opening Origin as admin, installing origin in different locations (such as the default one or on another hard drive, in or out of the Program Files folder), etc. Anything I could think of.
The error message I get is different, though. Each game I've tried to download starts by saying "preparing download", then a few moments later it pops up a window saying "Your download has been paused", saying it's "waiting for permission" and that Windows should prompt me for permission. No other popups appear, whether from Windows or anything else, so there is no way to satisfy this condition. I've pretty much given up and don't expect a solution. I'm just giving a pat on the back to the OP.
You all should be more specific. What's your specs? Windows 7, 8 or 10? (or...9??)
In the past, when Origin screwed up, I uninstalled it completely and reinstalled it.

Put it on your desktop and start Origin. Origin will ask if you wanna use the ini on the desktop (basically). Say yes, and try to download again. The EACore will show up in your Origin folder. To stop running Origin in Developer Mode, just delete it from there. Won't cause any problems though, so you can leave it there if you want afaik.
i dont know why, when and how..... but a few days ago, i can download jade empire with option safe download = ON.... its so weird.... because, before i created a new topic in here, i've tried safe download option in origin, but it doesnt work at all.... ![]()
