At this point i'll just be happy with a copy of DAI's cc, but without all the ratchet looking hairstyles.

It'll be a miracle if the team created a CC that's similar to Black Desert's.

DAI's was pretty good, boot up the original Mass Effect and you can see just how dramatic the difference is.

Hopefully we'll continue to see improvement.  Hairstyles will still be short for the purposes of armor and helmets, probably, but hopefully we'll see better quality and variety.

I haven't played Dragon Age Inquisition but I have seen some good pics like the Daenerys Targaryen pic

Spoiler

I would also like face scanning tech to be used. I think the new NBA 2K game has it but it wasn't done very well.

Other games like EVE Online and Dragon's Dogma have a very extensive character creation part. Seeing as how Mass Effect is only human only, it should be less work than Inquisition.

Character creation is always one of thosethings thats get brought up alot but in DA:I is was hardly bad except for the lack of Qunari hair it was the best so far.

People also hace to take into account that games like Black Desert are PC only so no real limits except for what varying PCs can process and show. ME:A has dropped last gen so it no longer has to accommodate for 10+ year old Hardware. Fallout 4 is a good example of a creators working only on current gen. With Frostbite and Human only PC, Bioware can really stretch their legs this time

to be honest, the customization for DAI was not THAT bad.. i liked my character and the fact that i can also choose her voice! the ONLY thing i hated was the hair options, which is not saying much.. nearly every game customization lacks a good hair option. i hope they give us more option regarding hair styles and please dont make them gender-neutral . NO.

Saints row 3 / 4 does a better job.

SR2 has the best CC I've ever tried. Here's hoping for some tattoos in future titles(not Fallout 4 tats though, they kinda blow)

I wish they'd even get the basics right this time, such as being able to rotate and zoom freely and having a sufficient and neutral lighting.

That said, I'd love a really advanced character creator that gives you lots and lots of options and freedom, even though it doesn't really serve a purpose gameplay-wise.

Please have better character customization than Dragon Age: Inquisition. It took me days to make a toon that I actually liked enough, tough it still looked silly. Bethesda does a much better job. Steal from them.

Also don't do all those MMO-ish fetch quests that make up for 80 percent of the game, like in Inquisition. Steal from The Witcher III, that has so much content without making quests feel like a chore.

It would be much easier to steal quest design from ME1 or DA:O...

I would also love to see some deeper customization, while color settings were much better in the ME 2 or 3 than DA:I, I would love to see some sort of argumentation or moduls to improve the gear like back with ME1.
