How do you do a class combo thing? The one required for one of the challenges?
Played some matches and now I noticed I have 2, but have no clue what those are or how I got them.
Perhaps silly question... Combo?

Some classes can detonate their own combos like Templar WoH+Spell purge or Ele Winters grasp+Stonefist.
Same class does not count like stun+impact.

Funny thing. Using wombo combo I only got 1 point per enemy that was hit with it. Using the elementalist, winter grasp + stonefist got me 2 points per enemy.

My preferred combo is using Flask of Frost & Shadow Strike, really effective.

Pulled from a previous thread:
That depends on the combo type you're referring to. There are Basic Combos, which have the same class types associated with both the primer and the detonator.
For these, the Primers are:
Warrior = Stun
Rogue = Sleep
Mage = Freeze/Paralyze
The Detonators are:
Warrior = Impact
Rogue = Precision
Mage = Eldritch
Anybody with access to primers and detonators in their skill trees can set up and trigger these basic combos. For example, a Katari could hit something with Pommel Strike to Stun it, then use Mighty Blow for a bit of extra damage in addition to the base amounts from those abilities. So in theory, a lot of the classes can do this. However, the damage from these combos tends to be much less and there's no associated special effect.
The other kind of combo is the Cross-Class, which is what happens when you combine different types of Primers and Detonators. If you look at the available combos, you end up with:
Stunned Targets -> Precision or Eldritch Detonators
Sleeping Targets -> Impact or Eldritch Detonators
Frozen Targets -> Impact or Precision Detonators
Paralyzed Targets -> Impact or Precision Detonators
This is where you get the fancy Shatters, Ruptures, and Discharges. There are fewer classes capable of setting up and detonating their own Cross-Class Combos. The ones that come to mind are:
Templar, Elementalist, Arcane Warrior, Keeper, and Avvar.
The combo setups go thusly:
-Templar: Wrath of Heaven -> Spell Purge (Stun -> Eldritch), results in massive damage (1200% weapon damage for the combo)
-Elementalist: Winter's Grasp -> Stonefist (Freeze -> Impact), results in a Shatter combo (lots of extra ice damage)
Lightning Bolt -> Stonefist (Paralyze -> Impact), results in a Discharge combo (AoE lightning damage)
Static Charge -> Stonefist (Paralyze -> Impact), results in a Discharge combo
-Arcane Warrior: Chain Lightning -> Upgraded Pull of the Abyss/Veilstrike -> Stonefist (Shock + Weaken = Sleep -> Impact), results in a Rupture combo (physical DoT effect)
Static Charge -> Stonefist (Paralyze -> Impact), results in a Discharge combo
-Keeper: Chain Lightning/Upgraded Static Cage -> Upgraded Veilstrike -> Dispel/Mind Blast (Shock + Weaken = Sleep -> Eldritch), results in a Nightmare combo (Spirit Damage + Panic effect)
-Avvar: Hakkon's Charge/Ice Smash -> Upgraded Chilling Tremor -> Crushing Leap (Chill -> Freeze -> Impact), results in Shatter
Ultimately it's up to you to decide whether you want to build a character around it. I can tell you that in my experience, the ones that require chaining three abilities together (particularly three targeted AoEs) aren't particularly practical - the time and resource costs get a little prohibitive. The Templar and Arcane Warrior combos tend to be part a lot of people's preferred "standard" builds (including mine), and with good reason. Personally, I'm not a fan of the Keeper combo setup: I think the effect is really rather underwhelming for the amount of setup and mana it requires. The Avvar Freeze/Crushing Leap combo I thought was fun, but not particularly practical because of the animation and cooldown lengths. I found the triple elemental setup (Lady's Wrath, Hakkon's Charge, Crushing Leap) to be more generally effective and efficient.
Hope this was useful.

No mention of saarebas? That has got to be the easiest way. Just use upgraded athlok burst, no cool down, little risk of killing enemies before the combo if you use a weak staff, and you don't even have to move lol.

This is how I got mine, only had to run two FC boards and was done - it also covered all of my staff/elemental ones as well (could have done it in one board but was running with a group)

Wombo combo, with templar, you can finish it in 1 run, use FC map, difficulty threatening ( as long youre not 1 shooted the enemy).
Yeah. Depending on stats/gear/setting if you roll demons you might one-shot mooks with Wrath of Heaven.

Hmmm I am pretty sure my athlok burst was not upgraded but somehow I still got in a bunch of combos with my saarabus. I was just trying to get the fire and lightning challenge done, but I accidentally got in a few finishing stance athlok burst. I finished up all 3 elemental challenges at the end and somehow got in about 16 or 18 combos... not sure how. I was doing mostly AB fire, Electric Leap back, Fire Leap jump, and repeat. A few times I accidentally did AB ice or did Leap forward ice...
