Ok so what we know as of now. Joker will no longer be the pilot for the new installment of the ME title.

Who do you think will be the new pilot who will give us gracious sarcasm across the galaxy of andromeda?

Who could you see being the newest pilot and what do you think the new ship will look like? As the one

on the MEA trailer doesn't give much clue to what it might be since we all can tell the citadel has had a overhaul

and is being flown to Andromeda.

Bioware confirmed that no major charaqcters from the Shepard trilogy would be in Andromeda. That means that Joker will not show up. Sorry.

I would love to see Heath Ledger to some voice work for BioWare the only problem is he's dead.

The New Pilot is you. When it comes time for the ship to move you are the one flying the ship, literally you get in the cockpit and start steering

Yeah, there should be that one pilot that scratches the hull when docking, sometimes ends up in the wrong star system and uses 30% more fuel than everyone else.

I don't want a pilot serving as "comedic relief." How about we switch it up. Maybe our ship's doctor gives insight on his/her thoughts of the mission, injuries, squadmates, etc -- while throwing some humor in their.  Or maybe our superior officer.  Just don't want another wise-ass pilot.

I heard that too but can't find any official comments on the matter.

 

It makes a bit of sense in any case. The Normandy was a war frigate whereas the new ship, being primarily for reconnaissance, will likely be smaller and require less maintenance necessitating a smaller crew. The new protagonist probably has a lower military rank than Shepard too.

The last thing you said... The ship in the trailer is not the Citadel. Sorry to disappoint. It has a couple things that are visually reminiscent of it, but it isn't the Citadel.

If it WAS the Citadel, we would have an indication that the journey to Andromeda happens after the endings to ME3. And I think it is virtually a certainty now that the ship leaves before the end of ME3. I would be genuinely surprised if they go the true sequel route with this since it invalidates the obvious reason that they are moving the setting (to avoid what they FUBARed)

Well if you look at the scematic's of the citadel and the ship from the trailer. You can tell it might or might not be the citadel. Has all 4 arm's. the presidium ring

twards the back, and the docking station where the catalyst docked during the end of me3 before the station fired the beam into the relay. Timelime of MEA I believe is taking place 50 yrs after the reapers and shepards story. Plenty of time for it to be rebuilt. But you know how bioware is. They like everything to be mysterious and leave us guessing. Makes it more fun that way lol.. Guess we will have to find out at E3 or on release day.

I believe we as thr players will be piloting the ship, but not our character. The ship will have a pilot (which hopefully won't be Joker 2.0).

I actually found him to be more annoying than amusing. If I actually had control over the game, I would send Joker to the mess and have EDI pilot the Normandy instead. Hopefully he would put as much effort into his cooking as he does with his attitude.

I found him to be ok in the first two games, but in ME3, he changed because the hologram got a platform. As soon as he said there's no regulation against dating the ships ai, I wanted to put him in a strait jacket.
