There were so many great moments in the series, both big and small ones and some have already been named in this thread.
The one that for me stood out far above all others was the ending of ME2. The whole suicide mission was great, but the final escape scene was just a mind-blowingly awesome moment when I first saw it. Not because it was well composed and executed (it was) or because the dramatic music just fit it perfectly (it did), but because of all that went into it. I suspected there was a chance to blow that thing up and still get everyone out alive and it was pretty clear that the choices taken during the main gameplay would probably decide that specific outcome.
But when it finally happened, the effect was unique. Yes, I´d seen numerous scenes like that in movies or games, and many of those objectively old tropes and typical shortcomings and cliches were also in this one. But due to the personal nature of the choices in ME2, this felt like that it was somehow my very own personal scene and I remember the "holy sh**, we may actually make it !" moment very well. It felt like all the personal experiences of the playthrough truly culminated here. Awesome
