:D

I image Artemis wasn't always like the way he was. As a teenager, he tended to hoard himself out, to all sorts of woman. Until he got a city elf pregnant (and probaly some others, but they didn't tell him)! She told him, of course that she was pregnant with his kid. He didn't know to how deal with It, but he did attempt to hide his emotions about how nevous he was about it. He slowly beganing maturing, aging, letting his usually, neat tidy short hair grow longer during the period of six months. The city elf died giving birth to his child, a girl named Summer. He raised her alone, for seven years until she developed magic and was sent to another clan. Artemis by then, had matured greatly, and had straightened himself out. He wasn't sleeping with any one, by that point he had slept with every available young woman (besides for Aurora! That's insest!)  so it didn't really matter if he did or not.

A year after Summer's sad depart, he decided to go the Conclave.

How sweet! Perhaps in the next dragon age game you can make his daughter? :D

Do you have any pictures of him/them? (Question for everyone really, would be nice seeing some pictures of your inquisitor)

I never really made a background for my characters for some reason, never really thought of it. I only made their personality and looks.

Yeah, it explains why he's so mature for his age. And I don't know how to post screenshots, but Aurora is that female elf I have as my photo. In general, their red headed, with different eye colors. Artemis is red headed and with brown eyes (I know how to make brown eyes on the thing.)

Either by the image icon at the top or via the "My media" I think lol.

You romancing Alistair in your new play-through since he is too irresistible? :D Really a shame he didn't get more of a cameo in the game. I sadly did the mistake and ignored the Keep thinking it was a multiplayer or Custom Content thing, so I never had Alistair appear as a Grey Warden, only as a king with the Warden as his queen.

No, that Dalish Mage on my icon is Aurora.

I've beat the game once with my Maeloda, but I'm 1/2 way in another one since I wasn't the happiest the first time around, buttt I'm going to get all DLC sometime (along with a hardware upgrade) and play fresh AGAIN and FINALLY leave it be.

Maeloda Trevelyan/Human - Male - Mage - Rift Mage

Romancing Iron Bull all the way. All. The. Way.

Completionist.

Happy in his Circle and not with being a noble, he does accept that he gained certain talents from his family experiences, and that the Circles, in some form or aspect, have a place in Thedas. Largely diplomatic and grounded in his humanity, he uses the Inquisition for positive means, though temporary ends. Not exactly a 'natural leader' but able enough to come into the position as time passes.

He is open to concepts of Andraste and the Maker, but does not encourage the near-messianic level of belief being leveled towards him.

Encouraged by his knowledge base, happy identity as a mage, and recent events, he studies to be a Rift Mage, and in this, Solas and Maeloda become close friends and in another life, would have traveled the Fade together.

Closest companions for party selection are: Any Warrior (most often Iron Bull once romanced though), Cole (rarely using Sera or Varric after obtaining him), and Solas (Dorian as backup, open to Vivienne).

Sided with mages due to just more of the trend of the narrative, but also because while Maeloda is against this level of rebellion and destruction, he will never stop feeling kinship with mages and he will always want a good result with him that is more than just containment. But containment in itself is welcome, and he decides to conscript the mages, albeit temporarily, instead of allying.

Briala and Celine make up and rule together. While not certain this is the best result, Maeloda played to his strengths (peaceful diplomacy) and an intent on keeping Orlais running while he and his Inquisition simply get the political support to continue their fight. He does not love the Game, but understands it as the reality he is to navigate.

Did not keep the Wardens. They've messed up too bad and they're too much of a liability. Is NOT 'anti-Warden', but does think that southern Thedas needs a breather from Warden presence and interference and that they don't have the numbers now to be much of a help anyway. Stroud survived (Alistair is king with Anora, Loghain is killed at Landsmeet.)

Hawke was sacrificed. Meta-wise this was due to Flemeth's DA2 words, but in-game it was because Maeloda wanted the Wardens with a good representative (regardless of them being cast out) and while he didn't dislike Hawke, he didn't see any special reason to keep him.

Drank from the Well. Didn't trust Morrigan, and does have the side of him that is tempted not necessarily by 'power', but definitely by knowledge and its potential positive applications to Thedas.

Leliana became Divine, I think?... I dunno what will happen the next time.

Have not done DLC, but I'm leaning on Disbanding the Inquisition and trying to Redeem Solas.

Maelina Cadash/Dwarf - Female - Warrior - (Will be) Champion or Templar

Romancing Blackwall or Sera. Dunno yet.

Nightmare run after I get the Golden Nug from Maeloda :P.

Only 1/4 through the game with her, but the gist is that she'll be resentful of even being there, but Haven being attacked will be the big catalyst for her stepping up in a big way and trying to contain this disaster. Both Templar and Champion 'tones' would fit this. She wants a regular life but she's not going to get it, so she may as well, eventually, decide to be the best she can be. She's not especially criminalistic, but she is a commoner and she does often sympathize with Varric's way of things. Eventually she embraces the magic of her life and her choices will reflect that, but she will never become one with it. Will be happy when the Mark leaves her, and she has a chance to be normal again, regardless of her scars. She'll always have a hard edge, but it softens whenever she sees what's at stake.

(Planned) ??? Lavellan/Elf - Female - Rogue - (Will be) Tempest

Total Solasmance, frankly. While Maeloda's story involved Solas a lot, this Inquisitor will involve Solas in EVERYTHING, including putting DLCs before the ending. She'll be enraptured by tales of Elvenhan.

Story run, difficulty and even completionism won't factor much in.

(Planned) ??? Valo-Kas/Qunari - Male - Warrior - (Will be) Champion or Reaver

Will be my attempt at coming close to sympathizing with the Qun and seeing if I can stand that. He may be Vashoth, but I'll try to have him keep an open mind. Romance will be one of: Cassandra or Dorian. I don't consider Josephine's romance to be fitting for him.

Trials run. Will try to gather everything I missed from that.

The least empathetic of the 4 Inquisitors. He won't be as hesitant as Maelina, nor as 'commoner', but he also won't be as able to feel the pain of others. In fact, the Inquisition is more of a way to power for him than for the others. It is most clearly a military force for him, and personally, he'll see it as his way of ensuring that others never threaten him again (in headcanon, he was greatly persecuted). While the Qun will always be alien to him, he understands its value on enforcing will on the world. I will intentionally have him be the least friendly to Solas, up to cutting him off when he's getting long winded. The least inquisitive Inquisitor.

NOTE: If I make a Qunari after this, it'll be a female Rogue (Artifacer or Assassin) or Mage (Knight Enchanter or Necromancer), and much less of this abrasive personality. But I want to try it out first.

The mix of Male and Female is so I have 4 playthroughs with different voices, and Human/Elf IMO works better with 'British' and Dwarf/Qunari works better with 'American'.

If I get super into things, like SUPER into things, I can see myself making 4+ more playthroughs to cover other gender+race+class combinations. But this will be over the course of several years as I wait for DA4/DA5 and/or refresh myself on older DA info. For now, its only 3-4 characters tops. Any ones after that will focus on story outcomes.

TLDR:

1)Nicey Curious Mage Human

2)Hesitant But Ultimately Heroic Dwarf

3)Hopelessly In Love and Nostalgic Elf

4)Problematic Lord Qunari

Quite the read, tho interesting. Didn't Solas get mad at Maeloda for drinking of the well?

Also Rogue elves are fun and romancing Solas as well. Enjoy that play-through!

True, but I have yet to see how he react or is it all "Solas Disapprove" in some play-through if he hates you, you get to punch him or if you romance him he gets angry. Haven't seen what he does as a friend.

Here a Projection of my canon completionist hero with all the DLCs in his playthrough.

Corrin Lavellan-Male-Mage-Knight Enchanter

Overall Plot

A young elf apprentice to the keeper of clan Lavellan, he was happy in his little world until the explosion of the conclave flung him into the world of mix culture and races. He goes around Orlais and Ferelden with a helpful smile and clever tongue ever ready to lend a hand to anyone who needs it, Corrin rarely lashes out in anger because he knows what troubling times people are in at the moment. The Inquisitor keeps to the Elven Gods, but soon opens his heart to the Maker as well. Attempted to help the Rebel Mages to no avail, thus he decided to gain the assisstance of the Templars in order to rescue the Mages (Love Ser Barris and Calpernia). Disliked the Wardens at first, but thanks to Stroud's sacrifice he believes their Order is worth redeeming and allows them to stay (Couldn't kill Hawke). Became so frustrated with all the rivial parties at the winter palace the Inquisitor allowed Celene to be assassinated, he then gave all power to Briala and let Gaspard become a puppet ruler (I read the Masked Empire). During the Temple of Mythal he sided with Abelaas and the other temple guardians, gave permission for Morigan to drink from Well of Sorrows (I thought it added more to Morrigan Story). Corrin and Leliana shared many opinions together and when the time finally came he was ready to help raise Leliana upon the Sunburst Throne as the new Divine Victoria (Love Cassandra too much and can't stand Vivienne). Strangley enough in the end all the Inquisition power was put into its military might (Still no Idea how that works).

Companions

Romance: Cassandra Allegra Portia Filomena Pentaghast (Yes that is written on her underware)

BFF: The Iron Bull! (HORNS UP!)

Respected Mentor: Solas (Even after Trespasser)

Least Used Companion: The Iron Lady (No need for two Knight Enchanter)

Best Sibling Pair: Sera and Cole (I will turn this group straight back to Skyhold!)

Swagger Master: Varric the Tethras (Still Hawke's BFF)

If I Had to Pick a Dude: Sass Master Dorian Pavus (Felt a genuine human connection with)

Most Forgetable Comapanion: Whitewall...or was it Blackwall? (Just kidding Thom..or whatever your name is)

Advisors

Best Hair and Best Man: Cullen Rutherford (Seriously needs to talk to his family more often)

Scariest Advisor: Leliana (No wonder i chaffed under her command to make her Divine)

Most Disney Princess-Like: Josephine Montilyet (My first hero Simon Trevelyan's true love)

Hope this post wasn't long!

I image our Lavellan's would either really hate each other or love each other. I'm not sure which though... Cause my Lavellan is also a Cassandra romance, but he's hot headed and a tad bit arrogant too....

Oriana Trevelyan, the Knight-Enchanter

  • Married to the Commander of the Inquisition
  • Friends with everyone! (including the Chargers) (Oriana thinks connections are important) (Chose to redeem the Bald Wolf)
  • Allied with Mage
  • Allied with the Grey Wardens
  • Let Celene rules with Briala
  • Didn't drink the dirty tap water the well of sorrows
  • Inspired Leliana and made her Divine
  • Disbanded the Inquisition because Oriana wants to retire with Cullen and live together peacefully until the world needs them again.
  • Inquisition focused on Military. (I admit I feel the need to deploy Cullen more because Oriana romanced her)
  • Overall she's on the sarcastic side because she's from noble family and seen all their ****. I choose the middle option in the convo wheel most of the time.

Selina Lavellan, the Tempest

  • Involved with Solas. (Stupid bald egg) (Chose to redeem him anyway)
  • Friends with everyone! (including the Chargers)
  • Allied with Templars
  • Allied with the Grey Wardens
  • Let Celene rules with Briala (the other options just didn't appeal to me)
  • Drank from the well of sorrows
  • Inspired Leliana and made her Divine (I just dislike Cassandra as Divine, and let's not even mention Madame de Fer)
  • Didn't disband the Inquisition, because she needs the resources to chase after the Dread Apostate.
  • Inquisition focused on Secrets (Not sure how I got there. I thought I deployed Josephine more. Oh well)
  • Overall she's nice, curious and naive, being a Dalish hunter that's suddenly thrown into this chaos and all that. For her, I mostly choose the top option in the convo wheel

I have this headcannon that female Trevelyan romance should be the Commander, and female Lavellan should be with the bald apostate. It kinda fits everything more nicely that way, imo.

Bald wolf LOL! XD

Your stories had me laughing a couple of times XD

Yours stories don't sound to be too far from each other, with the exception of a few choices. Was that due to you not getting the options or you just couldn't bare taking that path? (I know you had no other option in the Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts)

Not at all! Was fun to read :D

Corrin sounds like a soft and understanding person. Does he know when to say stop tho? He sounds too sweet to do that ^^

Did you notices Josephine's little leg lift in her romance? ^^

I did notice her leg kicking back at the end, but i enjoyed the moment when she allowed my first Inquisitor to win the Game of Wicked Grace in the end (True Love). Perhaps if my Lavellan goes thorugh the Mage arc he would be extreamely disgusted and anger at what had occured in the future, and when confronted with Alexius he would be screaming for his blood (mainly after seeing Cassandra condition).

Okay, our Lavellans would get along  :D Due to them being protective over Cassandra though mine has a.... history of being a bit a womanizer though he stopped once he had Summer, his daughter with his first love, Erwyn.

My Lavellan never had an opportunity to go out with any girls in his clan as he was never really felt a deep connection with any of them -_- , but it wasn't until Cassandra pushed a sword against his throat and threaten to kill him that he felt butterflies in his stomach for the first time   (he just loves a woman that can kick his ass). B)

Oh yeah, i know. Artemis does love a woman that tries to kill him too, he needs one to keep him in line. His first love wasn't a part of his clan, it was a city elf who died giving birth to his child, Summer. So i suppose he has a history.....

The other choices are simple unBEARable. I couldn't bring myself to exile the Wardens. It's Clarel's fault that they are in that mess and I thought it's not fair to banish the entire army just because someone up there made a stupid mistake. Anyway she did turn around in the end. Plus, I always left Stroud so that's another reason why I just couldn't banish them. Like... it would be so mean to do that.

I always choose to redeem Solas because... I like him. He looks like a fun guy to discuss philosophical stuff with (e.g. creation of universe, fate of humanity, what is self-awareness etc) albeit with a hint of fatalism. His sarcastic banter with the bald enchanter are pure gold. Maybe it's cause they both bald? idk

Anyway, I'll be sad if he dies... and so will my Lavellan :(
