So first off, I love your games, the trilogy is my favorite game(s) in existence, but one thing in particular kinda pissed me off in the transition from 1-3 (skipping 2). So the thing I liked about the first game is that you had Kaiden, who was your bro til the end. You could tell him anything, he'd take a bullet for you, yadda yadda. In my first play through I used to carry over onto the third I saved him instead of Ashley. We start becoming cool again, and the second he becomes my bro again he wants to go balls deep inside my citadel. I really hate how you forced Kaiden to be gay if I wanted a close friendship with him because people were complaining. I have no problem with Cortez before all these pro homosexual people start flaming me in this thread, he was a bad ass. But in the 4th installment, can you maybe add some sort of feature in the beginning that lets you enable/disable this sort of attraction between characters who have a huge impact on you (the protagonist). Just my two cents on what I want in Andromeda, whether or not this happens i'll definitely be picking myself up the Collectors Edition. 

 

P.S. - Make the main female companion a brunette

Having a toggle for this just seems pointless when the obvious solution is to not change a character's sexuality between game or use the stupid "Well you just never asked" excuse.

 

If you wanted a bi male character in ME3, Vega would have been a better option because he was a new character that you could write whatever you wanted to for.

That's a valid point. I would've preferred it that way too. But a bunch of people would complain if every character and there mother wasn't bisexual, so I was just trying to come up with a compromise.

Keep it minimal, don't force it and make synthetics romanceable.

Kaidan is your bro still. He never hits on you, you have to initiate the relationship, and if you didn't, he would treat you as friends for the rest of the game. 

 

They already said a toggle would never be implemented because it could be seen as a way for people to remove gay people from the world. It has been talked about in-depth.

 

Fallout 4 romance is actually very similar to Bioware, but no one complain about it. The characters are very developed in this game, very unlike previous Bethesda games. All their characters are playersexual, and no one really complains about it that much. 

 

I'm ok with playersexual or set orientation as long as they're equal. 2/2/2 is the magic number if they go with set sexuality.

They actually did try making every LI in Dragon Age 2 bi-sexual and people complained about it.

 

So in Inquisition they went back to having a variety of them. Even had some characters that would only romance specific races(being a female elf basically meant more people wanted to bone you).

 

I'm guessing Andromeda will have the variety of sexual preferences in LIs, too.

Toggles that change the will and interests of non player characters are idiotic on a fundamental level. There's no plausible reason for the player to have that kind of godlike cosmic power.

About the topic: Kaidan never hits on you if you don't do it first. It's sad that there was so little dialogue options on that hospital scene (and in the game in general), because it would be nice to share the that bottle of wisky with a friend too, even though I prefer banging that hot biotic god xD

He's still your bro. Just reject him and he'll go back to treating Shepard as nothing but a friend. It's not like you have to worry about him secretly masturbating to your character's pics or whatever.

Every moment between MShep and Kaiden was super sexually charged. It's actually kind of silly when you think about it. The ME1 walk-up and staredown, ME2s "Losing you was like losing an arm"...

I'm just saying, you could have full on romance stories with less sexual undertones than Kaiden/Shep in ME1-2.
