I'm working my way through JoH and seem to have hit a snag with the tribal approval quest. I have the required 5 points yet the quest won't update. Is there something more I need to do to trigger the next step?

The approval points are needed to unlock the end of the main story quest, so it won't update until you've done this. Your next step is to follow Ameridan's Trail.

It would have been better had the quest log made it clear that you will only get it after you've killed Hakkon.
