I finished Trespasser last night so I can finally venture into this forum. It took me a long time to finish my 1st play-through of the game, I then purchased the dlc's and did my second play-through. All the DLC's were pretty good however there were a few sour points in game design. (I detest no save zones in games).
I do have to agree with some of the curmudgeons who have stated that you had to pay for the real ending via dlc.
Trespasser was quite good in many aspects, I've always liked games that give you a run through of what happens to your companions going forward so that was nice. The final part of the quest was a bit of a false alarm though as you are hurried along by having to get to solas before the female Qunari but once you get there you realize it was no big deal. (I was also a bit ticked I didn't get to fight her myself instead of her just getting stoned.)
The last convo with Solas was the old good news bad news thing.
The good news is that I am a near demi god and there was no real threat from these puny Qunari!
The bad news is that your hand is going to kill you!
The good news is I can save your life!
The bad news is that I am going to remove your hand. (My poor bow shooting female elf)
The good news is that the immediate threat is gone!
The bad news is I'm going to destroy your world to save my elfy elves.
The first thing my character wanted to say to Solas when that convo started was: "You now when I slugged you in skyhold after our little tiff? I hope you won't hold that against me."
One thing to be honest I did not like was that it seems to me we Already know the base story for the next DA which won't be out for years.
One last thing, is there any appreciable change in endings if you choose to abolish the inquisition or some of the other choices? I chose to keep the Inquisition as the private guard for the divine.
tl;dr Just finished the game with all dlcs, some good stuff some not so good, overall good.
