    quote;

      On the recent job listing from Bioware, a position for VFX Artist is listed with a note that states

"various responsibilities are to be taken across various areas."

     The job listing is specifically for the one who would be able to work in a spectrum of areas that include,but not limited to,

 Gunfire, Energy, In-Game Particle Effects Work, Explosions, Weather Effects and others.

      I would also like to see some of the grenade explosion effects from Star Wars Battlefront.

I like the idea of dynamic weather, snowstorms/tornadoes/hurricanes/volcanic activity and the like. Having established colonies ask for aid from natural disasters would add real-world scenarios to the game.

"Weather effects" in general doesn't necessarily indicate dynamic weather, especially when it's listed among things a VFX artist is generally supposed to know. I can assure you that any game with BIoWare's usual level of production value will more than likely have various weathers in it, dynamic or not.

As for whether or no I'd want it: not particularly. I couldn't hurt, but it's essentially a pointless variation when we'll already be hopping from planet to planet and seeing all kinds of static weather on a minute's notice. Regardless, if Dragon Age is any indication, BIoWare's VFX and SFX prowess has only improved with Frostbite and EA's network of talent. Obtaining a similar level of quality to Battlefront's effects is quite possible.
