Hey guys. I apologise in advance if this is in the wrong place, but I'm really struggling to find a solution.

(Sorry for the weird formatting, copy and pasted it)

So I recently bought Mass Effect through Origin. I'm aware of the origin workaround with texmod (renaming the MassEffect.exe to Texmod.exe and vice versa, pressing play in origin then reverting the names back when Texmod is launched) so I'm 99% sure this isn't the problem.

I've also disabled origin in-game and disabled any possible overlays that may be preventing the textures from showing up (such as my anti-virus program and GeForce Experience) but alas, the textures just aren't showing up in-game, no matter what I do.

I'd really like to replay the trilogy, and I've become very attached to mods, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Forgive my ignorance but I haven't heard of Texmod.  

 

I have Dragon Age Origins and DA2 modded half to death lol, so when I played ME1 for the first time I played vanilla.  When I started a second playthru I was surprised by how few mods there were for it (then learnt it's super hard to mod the game).

 

The only one I installed is MEUITM which is a beautiful texture and shadow pack.  Not everything has been done, but what has been re-textured is gorgeous.  Slight problem with noise on Garrus and Wrex's faces from far away, and it crashed once for me and I had to re-install.  Even with that I wouldn't ever play ME1 without it now.

 

I downloaded it from Nexusmods - http://www.nexusmods...effect/mods/1/?

 

If you follow the instructions is loads fine, with Origin, and no problems at all.

 

I don't know if that's any good for you, but I thought I'd share in case it could help

This is for Mass Effect 1. ME2 works perfectly.
