Actually I played it first when released. And a couple of weeks ago played it again with all the DLC's and updates. I must say the game is much better than it was at launch.

 

But, how long do I have to wait for the story -which I assume it the fight to stop or save Solas? How long did we wait for DAI,.. after DA2.. 4 years? That's too long.

 

Has BW announced any timeline or at least promised regular updates?

Nothing as yet. They can't even say if they're working on DA4 or if there will be a DA4.

Well, it was...3 and a half years between DA2 release and DA:I. They had to contend with a new engine which required a lot a manipulation to make it work for them.

Since they're using frostbite going forward, it would seem reasonable to assume that two to three years from DA:I's November 2014 release is at least "within the ballpark".

Assuming one is made at all, of course.

We'll probably hear more about DA4 after Andromeda is out. How long was it between the release of ME3 and the first news that there would be an ME4?
