Pls dont. For Gods sake never ever implement swords, bucklers and whatever other medieval weapon in this franchise. It doesnt make sense. Its useless. We already have omniblade and biotic punch.

Multiplayer had class with sword, it was quite fun. But idk how well it would fit overall to gamestyle, maybe it's better just to go vanguard with biotic charge if you are going to melee.

It further destroys the lore. Why use swords in modern combat when you can simply use anything else. Sneak up by going invisible and shoot them in the head, or biotic charge them and blast them away?

Because it's fun and a lot of people liked the N7 Slayer. I get bored of just shooting/Vanguarding  things in Single-Player.

I kill animals for a living. Cutting a throat is not quiet. It takes about two minutes for person to die, all while sounds similar to a person strangling are leaving the cut trachea and the person is kicking with their hands and feet all over the place.

By working in a slaughterhouse. Kosher slaughter requiers us to not taze the animal but to simply use the knife to slit its throat. You were saying how cuting someones throat is silent and what not. Its not. Its messy. Its noisy. Special forces simply use silencers. A shot to the brain is faster than anything

I think that they already did that with Kai Leng and they're not going back.  They already did that with Guardians and they're not going back.

I'll take a mobile weapons platform to a sword any day to be honest.

 

 

A space ninja can only bring a sword into battle, an exo-suit can carry a minigun, missile launcher, flamethrower, and kinetic impactor at the same time.

 

 

Plus big, bulky power armor is way cooler looking than future ninjas (IMO). Mech Assault > Any Japanese Mecha with space ninjas.

Biggest problem with future swords is that they shouldn't exist when you can hold a sword in your Omni tool's replicate system and then don't have to worry about drawing, storing, or hiding it.

 

Plus break an Omni sword/blade you have a new one once your Omni tool recharges its build matrix, break and actual sword you've got an ineffective piece of junk.
