To break it before you stab him.
Doesn't that happen during the Chronos mission? Yeah it does. Still doesn't explain him sticking the sword in the ground on Thessia

...you're the most annoying sort of fanboy. Citing sources? Was an asterisk supposed to appear over Kylo Ren's head every time he was on screen, pointing the viewers to a text box at the bottom of the screen?
I was ok with it because Shepard is a cyborg with all sorts of enhancements. Was that not enough for you? Unless you forgot, which is easy because the game and characters largely do.
Still not nearly enough Vs. the Shadow Broker.
Reinforced bones / muscles / skin, do not allow one to completely ignore mass.
A powerful biotic might be able to do it by manipulating mass, but a cyborg with modifications that are minor enough for him to appear human,
and that are aimed more toward a measure of protection rather than sheer power? No chance in hell.
Yahg are so massive and muscular that they make Krogan look rather puny in comparison, one backhand or shield bash from the broker should have
sent Shepard with all his enhancements flying across the room to crush into a wall.

It's probably a part of the anime-style "cool pose"...
That pic in the 'tempest' kinda looks like TIM apparently, haven't read any leaks but the guy in the photo is allegedly holding two kids. If its elusive man its his kids.wait when was cerberus confirmed for ME:A?
Nope, just a call back(like Caedus) or a director comment, rather then it just being played off as some novel, or new idea
Also fanboy stretches the affection I have for the series a bit...its more akin to casual adherent to the Universe.
Seriously, you act like you need to be a fanatic to pick up a book.

I really, really doubt it.
Stupid? No, its fair to the author that built that book series and contributed to the universe with a concept for a existing character that was unused since the Vong war.Sorry, but that's stupid. It's not a term paper, it's a billion dollar movie with decades of material to draw from
Why? I have no 'rage' just disdain.
Cashing in on the EU while simultaneously treating it with derision is just cheap to me. Steal the ideas and then not give due credit, plus Caedus was truthfully better as he wasn't a overgrown man-child going through a bout of daddy issues and could actually fight competently.
Course you could call it the nature of things...like the EU giving us Darth Bane and the Rule of Two actual exposition back in 01 rather then a single line by Yoda in TPM.
.-. Truly this is nothing new, so I don't treat it as anything but the continuation of a practice Lucas loved to do.
Grumpy cat is a cancerous meme and so is rage comics, it's unironic and the least of funny.
But I think your pretty cool, stay safe bro
There's no indication whatsoever that the adult person in that photo is even a man, let alone TIM. Anyone saying it's TIM is full of crap.

Well we really don't know what Shepard's augmentations do for him as far as strength. You're right, but it wasn't something that seemed totally unreasonable other than that the series didn't do anything else with the fact that Shepard is cybernetic.

I just want to point out that your subsequent posts make it seem as though you've picked up many books. That's cool that you notice those things in the movie. I didn't read much EU stuff but I'm looking forward to seeing the new movie.

But it is true that isn't the only stolen idea, do you want me to point out the other stolen uncited ideas? The Sun Crusher, Imperial Remnant, The dark side adepts, etc.
There is nothing there that the EU didn't already do before.
Nothing was stolen. Everything written under the Star Wars banner belonged to Lucas Film and now belongs to Disney. You're being willfully obtuse for no reason whatsoever, proving that you're definitely a fanboy.
Not directed at me, but:

*Face palms* I just made a comment about naming my character after Kylo Ren, because I liked the character, and it gets blown out of proportion... I'm soo fking sorry...
Who doesn't like space Ninjas?
In a game where it's clearly not pulp oriented? It would be a very bad choice. Mass Effect doesn't have the same chivalry lore as Star Wars, plus it's based on a plausible reality and not a fictional one. Plausibility intended as "doable not breaking the suspension of disbelief".

Well the concepts, or at least your points, are not mutually exclusive. You could still call it "plagarism" if you're claiming to actually have come up with the idea, even if you technically own the idea because it was created for or under your license. It's the difference between what is ethical and what is legal.
But wouldn't attribution go in the credits?
Not when you are writing for someone. Then they own the character not the writer.
It's not someone else's work. That's the thing. It's Star Wars work, not the writers.
So you think it would be fine if your boss took an idea of yours and told his boss that it was his idea? I'd have a problem with that even though the company has the idea either way.

No I'm pointing out that ripping off other folks work without citation is plagiarism.
No it's not and no you're not. You're just whining about the new Star Wars because you're a fanboy, the worst sort of "fan" a property can have. Nothing was stolen, "citing sources" in a billion dollar movie is completely moronic, and you're being willfully obtuse. Stop it.
