It fits for Orlais. But my problem with it is that it's forced on you to wear in certain cases, and also that it appears on your companions. They should all have their own formal clothing design.

You're right. Extreme medieval fantasy suddenly infiltrated by some kind of 19th century colonialism-officer outfits? It's dumb.
Weird... It was my favorite...

If they were going to go non-medieval and wanted cool they could have at least done something that wouldn't have been out of place in the three musketeers.

Why would they go medieval when nobody else is dressed in medieval style?

They're uniforms, not formal wear. But I wasn't crazy about them either. Would have liked something more interesting. Cullen and Cassandra were the only ones that looked good in them.

The only thing thats really annoys me about it is that Vivienne is wearing that thing in the Winter Palace. That is a crime of fashion

Yeah not a fan of the formal outfit either. It kind of gets too close to something you'd see in Fable imo. Orlesian style is kind of a hodge-podge but a lot of what made it into the game has 18th century elements. Would have preferred late Renaissance myself.

Uniform is fine. Its the colors Bioware choose that make it hideous.
Also that stupid coin pouch sticking out in the back bugs the **** out me.

This is what I was going to say, more or less. I'm pretty neutral about the actual outfit, but I'm not a fan of the colour. Even just choosing maroon instead of red would have been way better, look!

That's better! Team Formal Attire, go! Or, roll out, or something.
This is also a moderate improvement, though I wish I could have used the maroon on everyone.

I think Dorian and Blackwall are using the same color scheme I used when I crafted Formal Attire for my Inquisitor to wear into battle. Or something like it. I think I might have made the metal green, and I think the sash was a darker green than Blackwall is wearing.

I personally have no issues with the formal attire. It seems fitting for such an organisation.
The pyjamas on the other hand are an utter joke.

It's not fine when its collar clips with half the face of a Qunari.
