Well, it is just on display.   I still die in a few hits, but for a while I thought I really got full health with pact belt on... oh well...   This just started happening yesterday.   I have not seen this bug before.

At some point over 200 health, it becomes two bars. Same for 300 hp and three bars. I guess health was never intended to low enough to display as one bar, hence the visual issue. Also, here's a thing:

Yeah, I run into that bug quite a lot (see full bars instead of two, but really only have two) and it's been an issue for me for as long as I've had the Pack Belt.

Strange, first time I have seen it.. and thru out the entire weekend.   The very first time I have seen it... I thought I somehow took off the belt but still killing things just as fast.   Then I realized that I die just as easily too....

Still only have two bars, tried out the belt for one game with a AW and put it back in the closet after the game.  Extra damage not worth the death risk  for me.

No way!  There is almost no risk wearing the pact belt on the AW!   I do carry the Regen pot just in case if someone in the party want to run the veil fire.

You know you have to use an Electricity staff, right?

Step one, in a treasure room, the horror fires all of its green shots at me,  Dead

Step two, FC 2 assassins attack me at once, Dead.

Used an elec staff, used belt cast elec spell.

Hey it works great!  You kill stuff like mad!  You also make one mistake and you are dead.  One tough enemy targets you rather than your team mates and you are down.

now if you don't mind going down a few times a match and know your team mates are going to rez you fine but even the best players that are destroying everything go down.

Are you skipping Guardian Spirit?

Think this may in fact be working as intended.  Wouldn't make a lot of sense to just have one big bar.  Honestly I don't think it makes sense to split the bar just into 2 or 3 parts either, but that isn't hugely important.

I am ashamed to admit that I do take Peaceful Aura and I only step into a new room with fade cloak active.  1 Chain lightning put barrier to full, and from that points on, basic attacks pretty much never fail unless assassins pops the bubble.   But usually assassins go after the ones who doesn't have Peaceful Aura or Easy to Miss or Stealth.

While I don't take Peaceful Aura, my strategy is similar. Pop FC before sticking my head around a corner, CL & Basic attacks to keep my barrier up. Pop FC and/or FS if my bubble is burst. Really, the only time I feel I'm in danger is NM Venatori or when there are only a few straggler enemies left with no clear LoS and my barrier is dwindling away. So long as you have both barrier passives and enemies to shoot at, you're pretty much invulnerable.

I got a feeling you were using a lv1 AW without the barrier passive...

Or you can do like me. Get in a game with Proto, lvl 1 AW WITH pact belt and have him Tbag you as much as he possibly can....

On a more serious note, you can't go wrong with the AW and pact belt after 4 lvls. The AW is just as strong if not stronger before the nerfing up date. Imho

With hakkon or heart of pride respectfully

Since I don't know the pre-nerf version of AW, what did they nerf on the AW?   Just curious...he must have been god like if the current version is nerfed.

Spirit Blade and barrier use to be so much better. Barrier would last forever compared to now

Oh wow haha.  I was watching the video and thought it doesn't seem that good at all, but then I saw the promo and stats.

I see.  I can see about the SB.  It is so weak that my AW rarely uses it.  But I don't see any barrier nerf.   Even in NM, I have never seen my barrier less than full unless an assassin pops it.

Infinite barrier was and still is OP. Fade Shield will always make the Arcane Warrior the easiest to play and most promotion friendly mage.

You can survive even with crappy gear and promos. While "just" staying alive you still generate great EXP for faster promotions and clears = more gold = better loot = faster progression.

Addition of the Storm Pact Belt was a bigger buff than any NERF to spirit blade. Now you can do the same job without having to move. Just hold down RT, cast chain lightning whenever it's off cooldown and use fadecloak if a mob decides to attack you.

I played the Arcane Warrior for the first time in a long time yesterday. It was...well I guess everyone deserves an easy class to play while they have crap gear...right?

The barrier decay was slower...

Storm pact helps you kill things quicker since being introduced to mp.

Still a great character before and after

I think the storm pact countered the barrier nerf... since more damage = more barrier right?  My AW cannot survive NM without the storm pact.. I tried it once.. thinking more health will help me.. but health doesn't keep me alive.. damage does.
