Why doesn't anyone on this forum seem to understand that the game is a year away? How the hell would we know how moddable the game is? Or what specs it will run? Or if your computer will handle it?

You are basically looking at filters/SweetFX stuff. Yeah you will be able to do this. Now will it be as easily modded as Unreal Engine 3 ME series was for other things (we changed the whole darn ending on PC)? Doubt it. Not now anyways. It is EA's engine. They may eventually release tools but not for a long time.

That said? If it looks anywhere near as good as Battlefront, which looks stupidly good at 4k? We really won't need mods for a long time as far as look/graphics on PC. We just need new GPU's to run it at 4k 60 :).

Actually it is stupidly easy to guess and we already know Frosbite is not moddable on more than filters (what the other guy wanted to know) until  we get tools from Dice.. We know the power of the consoles, and we know every single component in them and they are just x86 PC's. The only difference between this and Battlefront/DA:I might be VRAM for textures (one good thing the consoles have going for them past budget PC GPU's) and this game MIGHT take advantage of Async now that MS has added it to their SDK (Sony already had it and Dice used it on BF4 on PS4). We are seeing Nvidia clear stock of their 2 gig GTX 960's (don't buy them they are there for suckers) in anticipation that might happen and even our budget cards are going to 3-4 GB VRAM.

IF we do not get a DX 12 port then we may had a little overhead from no Async, but something like a R9 380 will be good this entire console gen at higher settings than a PS4. Async will help, low level abstraction is something we never had and consoles did. If we get a DX 12 port? Then even an I3 would be enough to steamroll this game.If not? Welp, might have to lock it at 30 (which is where the console might be) or might not get a smooth 60 on a lower end CPU.

EDIT: Nevermind, should have properly read the thread title.
