[Deadly dwarf]

I'm at the tail end of an Awakening playthrough.  I had the Vigilance sword made by Wade.  It's a great sword, awesome specs, and I installed the mods so that it doesn't look like Starfang.  The problem is if I save the game and then turn it off, Vigilance will be missing when I log back into the game.

 

Is it one of the notorious Awakening bugs?  Or more of a mod problem?  Like I said, I specifically installed two mods that were supposed to prevent the sword from looking like Starfang.  Any suggestions?  (I tried not turning the game off, but it ended up crashing at a key moment, leaving my dual wield rogue without one of her weapons.)

Not a bug I've ever encountered, I suspect it's mods doing it. What appearance mods are you using? Generally more than one mod doing the same thing is likely to cause issues. I use kigen's mod which has always worked fine for me

I think I may have installed two different mods to make sure it didn't look like Starfang; that may have done it.   Too bad, it looked cool and every other noteworthy Sword looks like Starfang!  Oh well....   The line in the epilogue about the Crows swiping it was hilariously appropriate!
