Hello !

Fisrt of all, I'm new in the forum (first post here) so forgive me if it's not the correct section, but I couldn't find a better one.

And sorry for my incorrect english, it's not my native speaking.

Thank you for the time you will give to my problem :D

So, I saw wonderful screeshots from the community and decided to give a try to the "screenshort art". I read this awesome topic : http://forum.bioware...er-screenshots/

And thanks to it (and the players that helped each others) I know a little bit how to use the DAI cinematic tools, and SweetFx now.
But I can't properly use SRWE.

Here is what I've tried to do, without success.

Once I've launched the game in windowed mode and that I've found a nice shot to take, I swap to the SRWE window.

There (with the game selected) I change the resolution to something twice bigger than my screen, in my case 3840*2160. My game change to this resolution  : I can see a quarter of the game, and it is pixelated (don't know if it's normal... I don't have a better resolution, just the size improved). But well, after all, SRWE is just supposed to do that.

So, let's say it's normal. I go back to the game, take a screenshot with the 'Screenprint', and then swap again in SRWE in order to set bak the original resolution.

But the picture I got in Documents/Bioware/DragonAgeInquisition/Screenshots is in 1240*720 (the size of my windowed mode).

Unfortunaly, I couldn't find the answer to my problem on internet.

I looked at this video which is for an other game and the method doesn't match with DAI :

I tried to go in the ProfileOptions_profile file, and I changed the resolution directly there, but once I launch the game, nothing seems to change, I still have my normal resoution.

I also read this article http://www.nexusmods.../articles/49/? but once again, the method is not exactly the same. Even if the article helped me to understand the principle.

Did I miss something ?

Maybe the screenshots taken with SRWE enabled are not in the same folder ?

I hope my english will be understandable. If not, I will try to reword ^^

Oh, and if there already is a complet guide that fix my problem, I'm sorry I didn't find it... I've searched for almost one week now ^^

Thank you very much !

I'm not sure if SRWE is still working with Inquisition. I had the same issue and switch to WBG here: http://westechsoluti...rderlessGaming/

It's very easy to use and work on almost the same way as SRWE.

I can't get the website to work...is it my end only? Throws a fatal error in the php :(

I get no problem with the website itself, except that I couldn't find a link to download the tool.
So here I get one: http://steamcommunit...25737470629963/
It's in the second or third post. I hope it will work for you !

I didn't try the tool yet.

Sorry. I didn't realise the link/site was broken. Hopefully, the link from Kapirklaa seems to work.

You are my saviour !

It worked perfectly.

I will just add a little thing I had to deal with, in case someone encounter the same issue. So, once the game is set in window mod and add to WBG (so without border), you have to go on the 'game settings'

There you can change the resolution. I chose 3840*2160. The size of my game increased to this resolution, but still with twice less pixels. Just like a big zoom. And if I screenprint this, I just get a picture of the normal size.

So I erased the numbers 3840 and 2160 (and let the two boxes empty), and I obtained a game at the 3840*2160 resolution (for real this one) which doesn't fit in my screen. I don't know why, but I had to enter the resolution and then erase it, in order to have what I wanted fromthe beginning.

Anyway, it did work ! Thank you :D

Yes, I know what you mean. Generally, I have to click on "apply" twice to see the resolution effectively changed.

Ah, that's surely an other possibility. Better than erase the settings ^^ Thank you.

As mentioned above with WBG you need to hit Apply twice to get the game to rerender.  The first apply just changes the size and maintains the original resolution.  the second time the image will rerender to the correct resolution.

Good shooting.
