For my villain...

  • Thuul Galidropodes Velite Grimgrin*

Thuul was a highly respected military leader and poised to become ruler of his people, the Kyarcha**, until a series of political maneuvers by his rivals and a tactical failure in battle resulted in his exile. After years in exile, plotting his revenge, Thuul came upon a Remnant artifact. The artifact was a functioning device that mapped out hundreds of locations of Remnant technology caches in several systems. After using the device to find and acquire some Remnant tech on his own, Thuul used the promise of riches and power to build an army of Khet*** mercenaries to gather every bit of Remnant tech the device showed him. After securing several Remnant caches Thuul's army encounters the Ark forces, who are also searching for Remnant tech caches to bolster their defenses against Kyarcha attackers. Thuul must stop the Ark forces before they get their hands on powerful Remnant tech.

As the story progresses you find out that Thuul's tactical error that contributed to his exile was a refusal to use an opposing planet's moon as a weapon(by equipping it with eezo rockets) to destroy the planet.

*thool gal-eh-drop-uh-deez veil-ee-tay grim-grin

**The Kyarcha are a race of tall(over 7'), lithe, powerful, grey-skinned aliens with 4 arms that conquer planets and races to expand their empire, much like the Protheans. They incorporate tech into their bodies from birth and use it to augment their strength, speed, stamina, intellect and biotic prowess. Kyarcha(pronounced kai-arc-uh) biotics function more like lightning(which is red in color) and telekinesis(which is unseen).

***The Khet are a race of jackal-like humanoids that the Kyarcha have never been able to conquer. Partly because they're scattered all over known Andromeda space and partly because they're wildly independent and defiant.

Asari Matriarch Adept:

Wise, fun loving, biotic powers on ridiculous levels. Also really fat.

Male Krogan Engineer:

Keeps mostly to himself. Specializes in bombs, grenades, remote explosives and explosive ammo (useful, this time). Also, Tech Armor.

Female Salrian infiltrator:

Great Sniper, kills time as the team therapist. "Other races emotional responses fascinating", she says. Romanceable from early on; gets bored and dumps the PC after a while.

Geth Prime Soldier:

The tank. Has a jolly disposition, makes all he can to be friends with everyone. Installed a monitor to his chest that show emojis, so people can see him smiling. Romanceable, asks to be called Edi in bed.

Male Human Soldier:

Cookie-cutter badass. Prosthetic left arm, leg and eye. Smokes cigars, talks profanities, doesn't shave. Romanceable, gay.

Female Human Soldier:

Tactician, the PC's right arm. Better than him/her at almost everything. Romaceable, but only accepts open relationships. Has the entire catalog of Blasto movies.

Male Quarian Sentinel:

Can't wait for his immune system to be strong enough to get out of that suit. Angry fella. Thinks every ship system is acting weird because of those damn Turian calibrations. Not romanceable, but if asked, would bang.

Female Turian Engineer:

Sabotages stuff. Has incediary tendencies. Heavy drinker. Daughter of a prior Primarch. Romanceable, but the relationship gets pretty abusive. No flexibility.

Male Drell Vanguard:

Works out a lot. Very talkative. Romanceable, straight.

Male Salarian Soldier. Engaging personality. The heaviest the weapon, the better. Smiles all the time. Sings while slaughtering enemies. "Life too short". Not romanceable, but bangs every single crew member except for female human soldier at some point. Any heavy drinking situation in which the PC is not romantically involved with someone else leads to a cut-scene of the PC waking up beside him.

Asari Inifiltrator:

Femme Fatale. VO by Claudia Black. Manipulative, smartest member of the crew, has hidden agenda. Romanceable.

Hanar Pilot:

Atheist. At some point had access to Javik's memory shards; thinks protheans are dicks. Has chosen to live with only one name: Bob. Talks normally. Tries to be funny, often fails.

So when it comes to squad mates I think there is an ideal number around 6 or 7.  I will actually go for 6 main squad members, a possible 7th should come from one of the new species:

Cute Girl - Female Drell Sentinel.  Slightly naive and easily impressed but also extremely competent - an expert in the technology behind implants, Omni tolls and weapons.

Buddy - Male Quarian Vanguard.  somebody you can always rely on to have your back, quick with a joke (often at you expense), the glue that holds the team together.

Femme Fetale - Asari Adept.  Your second in command, slightly arrogant, and the most likely to disagree with you.  At the start of the game she doesn't completely trust you and thinks she should be in charge, but you win her over during the course of the game.

Tough Guy - Male Turian Soldier.  A tactical expert but believe in shoot first ask questions later, has more depth than might you might think at first glance but doesn't trust the new species.

Brains - Male Salarian Infiltrator.  The scientist of the team, part of this characters role is to explain things to the player,  and provide some of the plot exposition.  Is in wonder at all the new discoveries.

Mysterious - Female Synthetic Engineer.  She is picked up in Andromeda and so has a role providing explanation of the new Galaxy.  However, she was treated like a slave with her role to simply keep the equipment working so has no knowledge of the other races aims or plans.  She is 'nervous' at first and treats you like her previous 'owners' but opens up over time.

As for romance then I would make it possible with all of them.  However, the Asari, Salarian and Synthetic are hard to romance and you can't even start the romance chain until you have won their trust and bonded with them.  The Drell and the Turian will pursue you if you don't initially reject them.

p.s. I love the idea of having a Hanar non squad crew member.

Good idea, I'd love to see an Asari that acts like a motherly figure towards the PC rather than another sexualized badass chick.

Is there a difference between sexy and sexualized, and are men ever sexualized?

Anyway the idea is not a bad one apart from the fat part. Ok to have people on the crew who are fat but not in the squad... these are supposed to be trained fighters.

Nice try. This is beside the point and I'm not going to argue about it with you.

I don't care if she's fat or not, I just don't want her to be presented as a MILF (Benezia, Samara). Aethyta is closer to what I'm asking for but she's more tough and fatherly than caring and motherly.

Hence the "biotics on ridiculous level"bit. She could be an asset and still out of shape. I'd love a fat Asari; if for nothing else just for the fact that it goes completelly against expectations.

Also, If Benezia and Samara can fight with those gigantic breasts half-exposed, Fat Asari Overpowered Lady can fight with a large belly.

With ya' on that mate. Would be cool if they did "invert" this time around, I mean for example we had male drell companion it would be nice if we get female one, we had male turian would be cool for female one, had female quarian why not get male this time? If these races make return that is.

At least one desire demon and a vampire.

Please

Why not a desire demon apostate blood mage female saarebas but is actually a mermaid?

I was missing possibility of having a batarian crewmate, they could replace Zaed back in ME2 with some Batarian dude...

I'm playing through ME3 again right now and the lack of a Batarian crewmate is one of the biggest missed opportunities in that game. Could have replaced "human Krogan" Vega.

I would have never replaced Zaeed. He was one of the few squaddies that actually had some kind of "the galaxy is an ugly place" about him compared to a cast of perfect eliteness and gorgeousness of most of the crew.

a pink geth prime with a wig and the personality and resemblance of rose quartz. It would be romance able and i would finally live happily ever after with it.

She will have the ability to surf the galaxy on a giant pizza.

They could simply replate human with the batarian model, I would left the story of Zaed as it is, because Batarians are most likely to be a pirates or slavers so I don´t see a conflict with that :P

Seriously want that dude's eyes for CC as option.

Also I want to be able to add multiple scars of my choice for example as this:

Spoiler

Anyway I will leave "want Christmas list" for another thread(there are plenty of those).

Back to my own thread I kinda want 1 from each race and not yet anther ship populated by humans vs just few aliens. Give one female human, one male one and leave rest to be different kind of aliens. I seriously find it such a waste many times that we got humans instead of batarian for example. It could have been interesting crew mate considering humans and batarian's history.

Chakwas got mad hot in ME3. Perhaps a side effect of being supplied the same sized uniform as crewmen forty years her junior.

That suit has incredible supportive qualities.
