I had aligator jerky once... it's OK. It's jerky at least. Kind of different than average meals.

On Omega in ME2 there are Varren kebabs, and Kaidan and Shep get Canadian steaks on the Citadel with beers iirc.

James makes some kind of South American thing with eggs on the Normandy that reminds him of home...and Dr. Chakwas gets drunk on brandy.

Oooh, and there's a Quarian on Zakera ward who, after you help her, says she'll go and have nutrient paste for dinner as it's all she has. It's been mentioned before as meeting all nutritional requirements but is pretty bland I think.

In a realistic Sci-Fi scenario, I would expect places that are far from garden worlds like space stations to survive mostly on what they can grow in

hydroponics facilities and to make synthetic replacements for the rest from a base of protein & other nutrients.

 

I guess you could also raise worms and other appetizing creepy crawlies for dessert.
