Boiled asari with a side of fried turian. Salarian kidney at room temperature is reserved for royalty. it's also better when the salarian is still alive; the fear adds......spice.

Thessia is so loaded with eezo that there it gets into the food and water supply in dust form. Asari are either immune to it, or they get nutritional benefits from it, but it causes cancer in humans. Humans have to order eezo-free versions of Asari food if they dine out on Thessia, and maybe other Asari worlds.
Asari Diner Waitress: Oh, that's right...you ordered the eezo-free omelette. I am sooooo sorry, mister. Wait...you aren't going to like, die at my table are you?

Garrus mentions dextro-amino chocolate in ME3. Makes me wonder why human foods are so popular.

Humans are special. We are the best cooks in the galaxy, and alien foods were bland until we came along. Must come from our super speshul genetic diversity.

Spoiler
Well, as somebody pointed out, when Tali ate cheese during the celebration at the Citadel DLC she mentions it was spiced cheese. She than becomes worried, because the Turian's food is normally rather bland. She fears it might have been poisonous to her. Mind you, at the time she is also desperately trying to change the subject of the conversation between Traynor and Edi, so she might be exaggerating. It might also be a bit of joke and a reference to the Turians being military and military rations having the reputation of tasting dreadful.
Regardless, considering how popular foreign food adapted to the local tastes are in RL, making the Earth cuisine popular among aliens is not that far-fetched.

I remember in ME2 Gardner mentions that Asari eat their head tentacles and it seemed like cannibalism.

It has been awhile since I played the game, but I believe Gardner jokes that the Asari eating calamari seems like cannibalism.

played the Citadel DLC again today and saw a fruit stand that had something that resembled a cantaloupe. And there was the EZ meat market that did not sell BBQ Asari or something
