Oh look, another whining SP fan boy thread by the same "sharp" people that just can't understand that the MP and SP parts of the game where developed by two different teams with separate budgets, adding MP did in no way change your little lolSP experience and it won't in next game either.

Give it a rest lolSP players.

I just want the mp to stick to the lore this time.

For the most part anyway.

Eh, I don't even care for lore anymore. As long as MEAMP brings me as much fun as ME3MP. Nothing like SWBF nor DAIMP though. Both grew quickly boring, even tedious to me, either gameplay-wise or rng-wise.

I'm not too hard to please. I'd just be happy with a clone of ME3MP with new maps, new guns, new kits and less bugs/glitches.

More bugs please, at least in terms of Rachni and/or insectoid kits.

Absolutely loved (and still play sometimes) the MP on XBL.

Just improve on the ME3 MP and all will be well in the world - maybe add a bit more of a meta game.

Those of you saying "No Multiplayer! Grrrr!! It's ruining the Campaign!" are deluded... it's here to stay, and one of the things that made ME3 actually quite great.

It's also a potential money spinner for BioWare with minor microtransactions - as long as it's not P2W, I'm fine with that (especially with all the free MP updates they did with ME3, was AMAZING).

Meh, I really don't care what they do with it, as long as they don't impact SP (I would think they learned their lesson on that, but some of the 'leaks' and 'articles' coming out are troubling; if there's any kernel of truth in them).

I'll try it.  If it's fun, I'll play it (like ME3).  If it's boring, I'll ignore it thereafter and focus entirely on SP (DAI).  As long as it is separate and does not impact SP, what kind of MP is tacked on is as meaningless and unimportant to me as, say, whether the box my pizza comes in is red or blue.  I only care about the pizza.

Honestly this.

The one thing I fear is EA going out of their way to overly-monetize it after seeing the popularity of ME3MP (and because it's fking EA. Their marketing done more damage to ME3 than what people who would rather blame MP for it would tell you between the partitioning of content for day 1 dlc that I still refuse to buy to this day, and the incomplete ending followed by a shameless ad to buy more DLC for a complete experience when the ending to a 3 game trilogy was utter **** before the remedy).

If you compare ME3MP store's prices, and credit : time spent ratio, to Halo 5 for example, Halo 5 can be seen as a shameless cash grab similar to an asian F2P shooter, and I really don't want to see that in ME:A MP, which is part of a game that will have ~$60 pricetag on it, and shouldn't have fkin predatory microtransactions, and systems to encourage it all over it as if it were a F2P.

I know EA suits are a bunch of scumbags that ruin most things they touch for money, but for the love of everything holy, can they manage to not ruin anything about either side of ME:A please?!

This is factually untrue.  Bioware literally had to patch in a way to get the "best" ending without multiplayer.

"B-but it's fixed now!"

Irrelevant.  Saying something never happened when it clearly did, even if it was rectified after a collective scream by Bioware fans is still untrue.  And separate budgets and teams means absolutely nothing when all the focus is put on multiplayer after the game itself is released, which is what happened with DA:I.

OH, and HERE'S SOME MORE DLC THAT YOU USE IN SP BUT YOU CAN ONLY ACQUIRE IN MP.

Did you forget that last example actually happened?  Whenever someone says "MP will never affect the SP, that's dumb and impossible!"  All I can do is roll my eyes and picture someone standing on the Titanic's bow and proclaiming

What in gods name are you talking about regarding the bolded part?

ME3 screwed up in one point, the galactic readiness bit which as you observe they fixed, as in it was an error not some evil ploy.  Nothing else about Me3mp had any effect on the sp game.  DAMP even moreso.  It did not affect the sp game AT ALL.

Possibility 1: Chronoid is so amazingly narcissistic and compacted into his/her little box so as not be worth talking to at all as (s)he will just come up with more inane illogical excuses for his faulty opinion. This is because no matter what logic you use to back up your views Chronoid is just too self righteous and blind to ever accept that (s)he could be wrong on this.

What's really amazing is that this person might actually believe their opinion is the only valid one and goes even further to promote this single-handed idiot view to others in a sad attempt at vindication towards it's hilariously ill-informed views.

Possibility 2: Chronoid is in fact, trolling.

Chronoid wasn't trolling or making things up. There is SP content in Inquisition that can only be accessed by playing MP.

While I generally disapprove of any singleplayer content being gated by multiplayer in any way, when it's just props and such, I can't say that I care too much. If it was story stuff, then I'd be pretty unhappy about it.

Galaxy readiness capped at 50% unless you play on multiplayer, anyone?

Did you actually played the main campaign, or are you just pretending you "forgot" this tiny little detail that could influence some of the biggest decisions in SP?

It was still possible to get every ending in SP with 50% readiness except for the "breathe" scene addition, which was a mistake that they fixed.

All MP really did in that regard is made you need less of those random fetch quests.

Not to mention that importing an everyone lives playthrough of ME2 picked up the slack by adding points per companion.

Which technically is still effecting SP. I don't think there is anything wrong with saying I shouldn't need to do more fetch quests because I don't do MP.

I kind of want SP to effect MP and MP to be allowed to effect MP. Unlock maps in the SP campaign. Have missions in MP tied to off camera events in the SP story. Have a mission in SP with a countdown clock representing how long your soldiers hold off the enemy. Give a default time but allow a MP campaign match in a survival mode style be played to link that time to the SPs campaign. You last 20 minutes in survival mode then your SP character gets 20 minutes.

Maps in the SP  campaign shouldn't have any other purpose than to contain story content, which makes an MP gate undesirable.
