No one would buy ME if it were just horde waves with no story or campaign and no PvP as well. If they do make PVE a bigger deal with drops, boss fights? People will complain and you will laugh pretty hard at their lunacy.

Well I hope they don't add that then. Keep it the basic horde mode or whatever minimizes the lunacy. I love MEMP for its casual co-op fun. If it gets where people act like it's serious business I'll avoid it. I like that I can play tired, drunk, the opposite of in the zone and people kind of just shrug their shoulders and play. When people remember it's just a game and is about having fun and not about winning MP is a blast.

What would you think to andromeda multiplayer being like starwars battlefront pvp or even the survival modes being replicated to similar to what we have coming in mass effect andromeda,
Me personally i think they should look in to the multiplayer on SWBF and maybe make the multiplayer this way or even use what they learned from this current title in andromeda.

I've heard people saying that they will not pay full price if there is no MP, still both ME and ME2 had no MP and people paid full price and bought the DLC for full price (if you're part of the mustard race like me), even Fallout 4 doesn't have MP and no one whine about it or waits for a sale. I'm not trolling but I'll say now that if they confirm the MP I'm not pre ordering neither paying full price (and the opposite holds true if it does not present MP(hope Ea reads this).

 

 

 

 The MP DOES detracts from the SP experience, the way someone roleplays their character, the pace of SP, the atmospheric feel (if it least had an offline mode some players could be pleased more and hate less this feature) and kills the purpose of the game by deceiving the players into believe the focus of the game is combat, and generical killing with crazy powers (don't get me wrong it can be like this but the MP creates a standard of it for everybody). This franchise wasn't in my mind supposed to be just one more game in the universe and although I agree that fun is the most important aspect there's tons of games where you can achieve this without killing the potential of this game that is a unique genre for me.

 

 

 

 

If there are really that much of players loving MP I would rather have EA assigning another team like visceral to create a standalone ME MP game. That way we would have Campaign and multiplayer getting along and they would receive what they love the most: money. I'm talking seriously, people think the game isn't worth full price if it is SP only but are willing to pay 110 for MP only games.

 

I'm playing MP these days so I think I have the right to say that I'm playing it but I'm not liking it, I'm playing so I can have a clear opinion without anyone saying that I didn't try it. I know I can just ignore this aspect but then it just feels weird like I'm ignoring part of the game, it doesn't feel like ME to me, it takes me away from the universe and splits the player base from the original idea. Adding multiplayer to mass effect was like adding singleplayer to battlefield.

 

All in all I just hope ME will not become a game like Halo where the MP is the core of the game now and that it will not revolve around it as ME3 did at some extent.
