i'm thinking it will be the second week of November, before Black Friday.

I saying their gonna try for Nov. 7, 2016 just gonna call it now before the eventual delay to Early 2017 is announced ;)

I'm not entirely sure it's applicable here, but:

I'm thinking it actually means January-April 2017.

Yeah. I'm fairly certain the game will be pushed back.

Nobody at BioWare has said anything about a delay announcement.

Trust me, you'd have seen about 8,000 posts about it if it happened.

Which is why they didn't say anything. They're afraid to admit it.

I wouldn't say that I just think it's too early to confirm a release date right now. We are after all a year out so at this point it's best to play it by ear and not say anything until they have something firm to say. They probably just don't have anything positive to pass to us yet.

A history of recent AAA release dates:

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim -  November 11, 2011

Assassin's Creed III  - October 30, 2012 (Console); November 20, 2012 (PC)

Halo 4  -  November 6, 2012

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - October 29, 2013

Call of Duty: Ghosts - November 3, 2013

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - November 4, 2014

Assassin's Creed: Unity  -  November 11, 2014

Dragon Age: Inquisition  - November 18, 2014

Far Cry 4  -  November 18, 2014

Halo 5  -  October 27, 2015

Assassin's Creed Syndicate -  October 23, 2015 (Console); November 18, 2015 (PC)

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3  - November 6, 2015

Fallout 4  -  November 10, 2015

Star Wars Battlefront -  November 17, 2015

There are way more examples but I'm tired.  The point is that major publishers have decided on a sweet spot between October 30th and November 20th for AAA game releases.  It's become ubiquitous enough that I'd wager that consultants and numbers crunchers are involved.

My personal guess is that it's far enough away from Christmas that dedicated fans and people who make economic decisions in their household won't want to wait, but close enough to Christmas that people who don't make economic decisions in their household (e.g. children) can put it on their Christmas lists and parents can buy the games on Black Friday.

So I'd guess they're gunning for N7 day, but their reasoning has nothing to do with N7.

Good question.

Both Andromeda and Quantum Break are XBone 1 games schedule for Q4 2016 launch.  I believe Microsoft will lean on the studios to stagger the launch dates to avoid competing with itself.

So, a Nov or Dec 2016 launch date for Andromeda.

It means the game will be delayed into Spring 2017.

Don't give your hopes up on Black Friday deals because those won't affect brand new releases and pre-orders.

Btw. ME3 was already delayed from 2011 december to 2012 march so im expecting a little delay however im not going to be happy with that.
