First of all - why does humanity need to be the center of everything once more, especially so far away from home.

This is done and repeated to death. I wish they would pick a turian as a protagonist for instance and have him work a lot with humans.

But hey, let's just lap another human on the cover, because this is the easiest thing to do.

People don't play ME series for humans - humans are almost in every other game.

We play it for cool feeling when interacting/working with aliens and to get that chilling sensation when we explore worlds which are not anything like our home planet.

I agree, i was extremely dissapointed when i saw that we where again playing humans.

I was hoping a more dragon age choose your race thing. I was hoping to play an asari or krogan.

Sadly we are playing ryder, though i know ryder will be a great character i just hope he lives up to shepard

I wouldn't mind having Ryder start the whole story as an "average Joe" on the board of the ship that took us to Andromeda and him being a "hero by accident".

Shepard can be considered "hero by accident" too, but he was hand-picked by Anderson and Udina due to his already impressive career record, even before be came to contact with the first prothean obelisk.

I wish BioWare would have such huge funds to make ME:A multi-race playthrough with various decisions while playing as a member of each race.

But, video-game developing is still just business... sigh...

Yup, that would be cool. But do know that ryder was probably also hand picked to be on the ship and he is N7 ofcourse.  Which means this guy isnt your average joe or even your average soldier, he is a guy that is already some kind of prof which is sad.

though i wouldnt like to play some kind of unexpierenced guy in mass effect when i was picked to explore a galaxy far away.

Now on another thing, abilitys what abilitys do you want to see

You should speculate about all the speculation going on and then speculate were all this speculation based on no information will lead us into speculating in the coming months with a followup speculation on the speculation that didn't really go anywhere because we were so focused on other speculation with no actual data to support it.

As a turian I would like to have "Calibrate" available from level 1, to finally tune those damn guns.

But since we are playing human - I think it would make more sense to have more "technical" skills, than "magical" eye-candy biotic attacks (some of which made me feel like a lame power ranger in ME3".

Human often can do only as much as his equipement allows him, we're not gods.

So since this is distant future with a lot of technical toys to play with - I want to rely on those more, than those magical recharging flash attacks.

Mh, Biotic charge, nova and sniper rifle is still my most loved combo XD

The story though, this is what im going to say in my video about it:

First i think that our ship either flies all the way and has the crewmates "breed" or they go in cryo thanks to the prothean information.

When the ship first arrives at the andromeda galaxy it finds a khet ship. The khet speaking in an unspeakable language start attacking  the ship of ryder (or the other way around) Which starts a war between our colonists and the khet. Fighting over planets and resources, or much like the first contact war with the humans.  We probably will find some easter eggs like maybe a single reaper or things like that.

Eventually the war ends with you having the option to whipe the khet out or make peace with them depending on past choices

Pie.

I made a strawberry rhubarb pie last night. To emulate my totally irrelevant hobby there should be a cooking mini game like cooking mama on my iPhone. This would be about as needed as this topic.

Pie is pretty good...

I think the planets we visit would be a good conversation. The E3 trailer shows some variety in planets and I'm really interested in learning more about all of them.

So many assumptions in this post.

Most players prefer to play humans, such as yours truly. If they aren't playing humans, the races they play are just humans with minor irrelevant variations such as slightly pointed ears or inhuman skin hues. Look at any MMO or game that allows you to pick other races and see what I'm talking about. Just looking at WoW, most people play Humans or Elves.

The only alien in ME3 that fits that phenotype is the Asari race and they can only be female.

Still, that's no reason to not have other races be a protagonist option in ME:A if they go that route. This is especially true since we're exploring a new galaxy and there seems to be no reason to have a human-centric game (as far as we know).

But if given the option of only one race, it will always and forever be human. Marketing demands it.

Okay, there are three ways they can do this....

1) We're refugees from a galaxy being overrun by the Reapers. We're taken in by a benevolent power that allows us to settle in a particular star cluster that so happens to be in a disputed territory. Of course they support us in subjugating the "bad guys" who try to kick us out. But the bad guys uncover an ancient and really bad thing....blah blah blah and only you, the hero can stop them. Well, you know how this goes - it's typical role playing game stuff.

2) We're refugees from a galaxy being overrun by the Reapers. We're looking for a cluster in which to settle. We find a habitable zone and try to settle there, only to find out that the empire that owns the cluster does not want any alien incursion on their territory. They fight us, and we fight back because they're the "bad guys" trying to stop us from establishing our new homeland. In the process, we uncover an ancient and deadly enemy that threatens the entire galaxy. It's bigger than all of us. Only our hero can stop them.

3) We're refugees from a galaxy being overrun by the Reapers. We find a relatively uninhabited, unexplored cluster. We settle. There are a couple of worlds that have just discovered space travel and are colonizing their solar systems. We're welcomed. During our explorations, we discover an ancient and deadly enemy of the entire galaxy that has been asleep for thousands of years. Only our hero can stop them.

PS: this ancient and deadly enemy is not a reaper. We've had enough of them.

What made the reapers awesome in ME1 and 2 was that we saw so little of them. They were so mysterious. What made the Collectors lame was that we saw so many of them + Harbinger taunts. What made the Reapers lame in ME3 was that we saw so many of them and it became a zombie shooter.

Mh yeah, though i dunno i have a feeling the new game might just feel really empty in one point.

I prefer option 2 of what you have told.

But i dunno  maybe a whole new unexpected story
