Hi. I'm hoping to purchase one of the ME3 dlc's for a friend and I'm wondering if this is even possible (first time using the bioware store). If I purchase it from my account can my friend download it? Is there a link to share or would I have to give them access to my account? Thanks.

Your best option is buying a gift card for your friend, as there is no gift DLC option for ME3 on any of the platforms the game is available on.
There are gift cards available for Origin, Xbox, and PS3.
Do not give your friend access to your account. If they did something ban worthy then it is you who would suffer.
