That's it!  I'd very much like to hear what i've done through my canon world state of Dragon Age with the nice images and voiced by Varric Tethras, like he does with the events of DA:O, DA2 and DA:I Prologue.

To answer your question, OP ... lol I dunno, maybe when we get closer to DA4. And it might not be Varric narrating.

I think it was a mistake to use him in the first place, actually. He may be an author, but he is still just a single companion. I'd also argue that his time is done in the franchise, particularly since his writer has left to go work on the new IP with David Gaider. So if they get a new person it will seem disjointed. He was in DAI as well, so I can see him narrating those events. And and although he was not in DAO, you can say that he was narrating the events of the series up to that point, most of which was was a part of (2/3). But that same thing won't be true for DA4 (most likely), so what will they do at that point?

 

I'm also not crazy about the feature in general, but that's just a personal view.
